Tim was great! He came out on really short notice, diagnosed the issue quickly, and fixed the issue at a reasonable price. I never do Unilocal reviews, but I felt that the review above short-​changed Tim. On the phone, he’s direct and to the point and takes care of business. He’s very nice and good at his job. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Very rude. I called him because he advertised on his website that he sells parts, but was condescending and derogatory about homeowners who plan to take care of fixing broken parts themselves instead of paying him $ 150 to do it. He referred to homeowners as ‘stupid people who think they know what they’re doing’. My husband decided to call Overhead Door in Whitmore Lake after I told him that I refused to do business with this company. The guys at Overhead Door were professional, helpful and friendly. He even carried the new part out and put it in my car for me. After 20 minutes, my husband had the part replaced and the door rebalanced and our garage door was as good as new. Not all customers are incapable of doing a little research and tackling a repair themselves — and saving themselves $ 150. I’ll never do business with this company.

Tim serviced our garage door opener today and it was a great experience. I called late yesterday afternoon and we set a time for first thing today. He was even a bit early.
He had accurately diagnosed the problem over the phone when we first talked and was ready to go on arrival. The price was reasonable and the service was very complete. Not only did he replace the stripped drive gear assembly, but he lubricated the door and taught me how best to take care of it going forward in order to minimize my expenses, all at the price originally quoted.
Tim’s service was fast, personable, reasonably-​priced, extremely thorough and informative. I really don’t see how you could do better. I’m happy to offer my enthusiastic endorsement.
