History

Established in 2009.

I am an independent owner of a Franchise that has over 500 designers throughout North America. Decorating Den Interiors has been furnishing homes since 1969. Initially their focus was window treatment design and each decorator carried their samples in their boldly decorated «Decovan».

Today we are affiliated with over 100 suppliers that offer products for various styles and budgets. And we always growing to meet the needs of our clients.

Not only is the support of the corporate headquarters in Easton Maryland, there is also the broad network of designers all over the country to enable your local professional to meet your home furnishing needs efficiently and creatively.

Deborah B.

Business Owner

As Art History major at the UVA, Deborah gained an understanding of the elements of design that contribute to an effective composition and how art reflects the personality and culture of the artist. This interest in creative process and peoples motivations led Deborah to the study and practice of Art Therapy in the Boston area. In the process, she honed the intuitive skills that give her insight to design homes in a way that communicates her client’s personality. In the following years of homemaking and parenting, she gained appreciation for the importance of creating a home that nurtures the family and is welcoming to guests. Changing life circumstances brought her to revisit career choices and she set out to pursue a career in Interior Design. Deborah attended Moore College of Art and Design and Harcum to gain the expertise in the trade to equip her for the future. Her career began in the corporate design world. After a few years, she realized that her heart was in home design.
