By far the most helpful, easy-​going, and affordable print shop in Detroit. This place does it all. The staff are incredibly personable and knowledgable. It’s nice to have a place in Detroit you can actually count on — this place makes my life much easier.
Compared to the other chain print shops in the area, this place is far superior.

I absolutely love this print shop, the owner is always friendly and accomodates all of my requests. She has more reasonable prices than the university and a variety of office supplies. Whenever Im running late she is sure to get me in and out as promptly as possible!

If you need lots of copies of whatever, go here. UCPC is super accommodating and knows their stuff!
I’ve gone here for quarter/​half/​full page flyers. If you order things smaller than a full page, she’ll slice ‘em up for you.
If you want double sided prints, Anita’s a whiz. Resizing? No problem.
They offer a wide variety of paper colors, have basic office items for sale, have a computer for you to get your files from, and have fast-​ass-​printers.
University Copy & Print is waaaay cheaper than that kinkos/​fed ex bullshit. And this store is family owned and operated. If you need to send a fax, you can do that. If you accidentally print out stuff with your ssn and personally identifiable info, its ok. They have a shredder!
Go here before Kinkos. They close at 5 and dont open on the weekends because these people have lives to live. So get what you need during the weekday office hours and seve your self that extra cash!

I had a bad experience with this place this morning. I really needed to make several copies of packets that were about 2o pages each. I went to this place at 8:30. The lights were on inside and the neon lights advertising the services provided like «fax» and «copy» were on, but the neon light for «open» was not illuminated. There was a piece of paper in the window that said that summer hours are M-​F 9 – 5. I went back to my car and waited until about 9:02 am. I went back to the door and it still wasn’t open. I waited until about 9:10 and the place still didn’t open. I went across the street to Barnes & Noble to get a recommendation for anothercopy center in the area, but no one there had any advice. By this time, it was around 9:17 and the copy center still was not open. I got in my car and drove around the area in an attempt to find another location to make copies. I was not successful. I passed back by the University Copy & Printing Center at about 9:35 and it still wasn’t open. This was very disappointing. If you urgently need a copy and printing center, I suggest you go elsewhere.

This is a solid A-​OK copy-​printer shop. All the BASICS can be done here. Cheap-​frills, like a spiral-​binding, can also be done here. Small & speedy. If you’re looking for some very basic copy-​printer needs on Wayne campus, this place will hook you up.
The only reason I’m bumping this very solid A-​OK copy-​printer shop up to a 4-​star is because on two different occasions, walking into the store without buying anything, I was allowed to use their stapler and paper cutter for a medium sized project at NO cost — just to be nice (though only an ass would figure out a way to charge per staple, no doubt). You’d think most places would tell you that the stapler use is free IF i made some copies or something. Not here. In my (spiral-​bound) book, niceness goes a long way.
