I needed a tow on a cold day at the end of a week of horrible car problems. I called and they said it would be $ 100 to tow from Redford to Farmington Hills. Ok, that’s a lot, but I was also towing it kind of far. He said he’s get back to me with an exact quote and we got off the phone. He called me back in a minute and asked for addresses, I gave him the address for my body shop in Farmington Hills and told him that I was at a specific gas station on the corner of two roads. He said it would be about 30 – 45 minutes. I said okay, thank you so much and we hung up.
An hour later they weren’t there, so I called. He claimed that he assumed I didn’t want the tow because I didn’t give him the address to the gas station. Mind you, I told him the name and the corner of the gas station and he didn’t ask for an address afterwards, but he gave me a time estimate. At this point, I was incredibly fed up. I just waited an hour in the cold for a tow that never came, and he acted like it was my fault. I told him I would go elsewhere instead and hung up.
He called me back and half heartedly apologized, then said he could send someone over in ten minutes. I agreed. Mind you, it took longer than ten minutes, and I kind of feel that because of all this trouble I should have been given a discount. I drove behind the tow truck in someone else’s car, and saw the driver run a red light with my car right in front of me.
The only reason I even give them one star is because the driver was nice and helped me fix my car door that had been bent out of shape by my accident. But overall it wasn’t worth it. If you’re calling for a tow chances are it’s already been a stressful day and you don’t need this company adding to your stress.

5 star service and fair price. I tried calling 6 companies before I found Gary at top-​notch. He was friendly, quoted a fair price, polite to my wife and let my son watch the car go up on the big shiny truck. I had a car towed from madison heights to Redford and he made it painless.
