Starters Bar & Grill

Horrible service, definitely for the lower class. Lackluster service and hospitality. My party and I were waiting for a table and told that there was a wait. I was a little confused considering the restaurant was no where near full. The service was at most a 1 star. Detroit really need to step it their standards up for their service and hospitality.

Ok so I always try to visit an establishment at least a couple times before I write a review on it, this is one place I gave 3 – 4 chances before I did this. This is by far the most unprofessional place I have been in my life. At least for the midtown/​downtown location. Every time the waiter or waitress was rude and this includes my 1 time at the Fairlane location. I am convinced that I am not the most ghetto person alive because EVERY time I visited this place it has shown me proof I am not. This last visit me and my guest told the manager how rude and loud the people next to us were (as we are paying our $ 87 tab for her crab legs with no fork) and sll he said was sorry and walked off. The food is ok at best. I can taste the freezer burn in the fish and the burgers taste like my very first burger I cooked at 12 years old. Please if your trying to impress anyone, stay away from starters. I have been told the original location on Plymouth is much brtter, but I rather not take a chance. I am giving this a 1 star because there isn’t a zero rating.

Das Starters’s liegt neben «Sears» am Rande des Fairlane Town Centers. Diese Mall, die eine nur mäßig attraktive Mall ist, liegt in einer einfachen Gegend (Dearborn) westlich von Downtown Detroit. So wie die Mall ist auch das Starter’s: Alles ein wenig lieblos gestaltet, teilweise leicht schäbig — aber die wichtigsten Dinge bekommt man: Kühles Bier, Burger, Chicken Wings oder BBQ-​Ribs.
Die Speisen sind alle soweit in Ordnung, die Ribs gefielen mir sogar recht gut. Portionsgröße ist wie in den USA üblich kein Thema. Der Service war amerikanischer Standard.
Die Bar ist eine Alternative wenn es nicht immer das T.G.I. Fridays im Nebengebäude sein soll.
