Peking Express

Slow, unfriendly service. Girl was on her phone the entire time. Was the only person waiting for food and a simple order of egg drop soup to-​go took 15 minutes. No apologies for wait. No explanations. Will not be back.

I had the hawaiian chicken it was good and fresh my boyfriend had the sesame chicken he didnt like it as much he did like my food thou so I would try this place again I also liked the lil value meal deals they had…

My mother and her boyfriend really enjoy another restaurant in Harbortown Plaza, as well as this particular Chinese restaurant. So on her suggestion, we visited the Peking Express today. I must say, like many other Chinese restaurants, they rate well in value for the money. However, as far as the actual food goes, there really isn’t anything especially more spectacular than any other Chinese restaurant I’ve visited. That is not to say that I won’t visit this one again if I am in the area, but I highly doubt I will be making a special trip for this one. However, in all fairness to this establishment, as far as my end goes, the same can probably be said about any other Chinese restaurant I visit, including ones that I frequent and the ones that I have already reviewed.
So, I ordered the Shrimp Egg Foo Young, which, on the full order, comes with an Egg Roll and Shrimp Fried Rice. The Foo Young is quite large, and they give you a generous amount of gravy on the side for it. Personally, I would have preferred it if they put the gravy on it for me, that way it had time to soak in the gravy while I was riding home (which makes it that much better, in my opinion). The Fried Rice has bean sprouts, which I would have also preferred to be a little more «done» (though less done and crispier is better for your health, supposedly). However, I really did enjoy the sauce that came with the Egg Roll; it was much sweeter than any other I’ve ever had.
