I am an ex U.S. Air Force (retired) photographer with over 30 years experience in photography. Photography has been my hobby, passion and profession. I specialize in beach portraits and beach weddings because there is no finer backdrop for portraits than the breathtaking colors of our Emerald Coast. I have tons of patience, great with children and parents. There is no sitting fee. I shoot digital with professional high resolution SLR camera systems. We use the highest quality photographic paper and products for your prints with the highest archival quality. You will see your proofs and a Photo CD within 2 days with online viewing.

History

Established in 2002.

I started as a beach and wedding photographer within a couple of years after retiring from the U.S. Air Force and settling down in the Florida Panhandle.

Picked up my first photographer gig as the yearbook photographer at K-​Town High School in Kaiserslautern, Germany in 1975. I was hooked ever since. I joined the U.S. Air Force Jan 1977 as an imagery processor (darkroom work) and worked in the highly classified Photo Reconnaissance field working with U-​2/​SR-​71 and satellite imagery. I left the USAF in 1982 and worked at Logan Photography in Columbus, Ga and Garrett and Lane as a photographer and B&W printer for one year and then went back in the USAF to complete my career of 20 years. The USAF combined career fields after reentry and we became photographers/​imagery specialists. I retired at Vandenberg AFB, CA. 1998. I settled down with our family in the Florida Panhandle in 2000 and founded Ron’s Images By The Sea in 2002.
