Emerald Coast Sailing has been providing fun, entertainment, and learning for 4 years along the Emerald Coast. Captain Andrew Stempki, a writer and musician, has been at the helm of his flagship Emerald Lady bringing the joy and love of sailing to thousands of guests.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Captain Andrew Stempki was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. He spent his early years sailing in the Great Lakes and Mackinac Island. He moved to the Gulf Coast after graduating college and began building a legacy of boats, music, and books. He founded the Office of The Tropical Liaison that encompasses most of his work. He broke new ground in the Spring of 2013 by designing and implementing a shuttle service that operates in Destin. His first book, The Tropical Disturbance, was the only book that detailed the challenging and chaotic world of living through the BP Oil Spill. Andy lives in Destin with his dog Dixie.
