I am a patient at medical sleep solutions on Robbie Mince Way. I gave a one star because the doctors are wonderful. Everything else leaves much to be desired-long waits, giving wrong supplies, rudeness, messing up paper work, added charges, etc. It’s really a hassle. Please find somewhere else with more professionalism.

I did a sleep study with Medical Sleep Solutions in Waxahachie back in May of 2015. I do not have health insurance and am a self pay patient. I did my initial consulatation in the Waxahachie office and met with a doctor who recommended I do an «at-home» sleep study and advised me that I would be picking up the equipment and paying for the sleep study directly to Baylor. Immediatley after seeing the doctor and my consultation, I paid for the consult which was $ 180 for 15 minutes with the Doctor. So about a week later I picked up my sleep study equipment from Baylor and had to pay them $ 560 for the equipment and sleep study. They stated to me that I had to return it the next morning and they would read the results. Ok, did my sleep study and returned the equipment the next day. They told me then that I would get a phone call with the results of my study. About 3 days later, I received a call from someone from the Medical Sleep Solutions who told me I had a mild sleep apnea and it was up to me to continue with treatment or not. I decided to not continue with any treatment. Then, 3 months later, end of August I receive a bill in the mail for $ 250 that states«Sleep Std Respir ECG/Hrt. Never was I told that I would get billed above or beyond what I already paid. But since I did’t go through with the treatment, I guess they have to make their money elsewhere. I called several times and left messages for their billing dept to no avail for about a week. Finally I get ahold of them today, 8÷31÷15 and Rebecca, an acct representative states that the charge is for their«interpretation» of the sleep study. I NEVER was told I had to pay more money for any interpretation. As a matter of fact, Baylor told me they would be calling me with the results. She stated if I did not pay it, I would be sent to collections. This is a totally unscrupulous charge and bogus billing practices by this company. She refuses to adjust the bill or show me where I was told or signed for any extra charges. All charges were paid in cash at the time of services, so why I get a bill months later is nothing but a red flag to me. I will be posting this everywhere in hopes that other patients do not find themselves in the same boat as me. Do NOT do business with this shady company.
