Dom Sushi Bar

Great place to enjoy delicious and super fresh Japanese and Korean food. Service is amazing, A+++++++. I would recommend it to anyone who likes sushi.

Loved it. I was looking all over the city for chicken fried rice and this was the only place I can find it. It was fresh warm and delicious I will be back soon

I absolutely love this place. The Yoyo platter is not only food porn, but a perfect combination of fresh ingredients and just the right amount of sauce. The rolls, ahi, and sushi is some of the best in the desert (and maybe better).

Best sushi in town, love that they put time and effort into the each roll my daughter and I Love it their, as well as their chicken teriyaki and fried rice is great to eat! Good family environment.

We’ve been to this fabulous sushi bar a few times now & truly love it! Very fresh fish, beautifully served and a wonderful staff. I’m so happy to have a restaurant if this caliber north of I-​10… Well worth the drive!

There is just no way to top Domo in the sushi category. The fish is fresh, the chef is amazing, and his rolls are self-​invented gorgeously elaborate creations that keep me and mine coming back for more. Nice range of saki and beer, a number of hot dishes, and for the vegetarian — plenty of options. The wait staff is fast and attentive, and the kitchen rocks. Friendly place with no pretensions. Shorts and tee shirts are fine.

Small spot not too hard to find. Affordable nice menu options. We got the avocado salad really refreshing. Sushi really tasty.

This place is great! Love the special rolls… especially the caliente and lion king rolls! Only downside is no all you can eat option.

It was delicious, packed and friendly. I will defiantly be back! Fish is fresh and the rolls are tight with prefect amount of rice.

Pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this restaurant. It truly is a hole in the wall restaurant. BUT, the sushi is delicious. I had the Hwe Dop Bap (a raw fish bibimbap) and enjoyed every bite. It was huge and the fish was fresh.
My husband had the lunch bento box and he wasn’t as impressed with the value.
Also, the sushi chef isn’t friendly but I think that was because he was concentrated on pumping out orders.
Had to wait 10 minutes to have our card run. Seems like it is a family owned and run business that struggles at times with minimal staff.
Overall– a good idea.

The food took a bit to get & yet the service was cordial & professional. quality of tempura was old oil and portions were smaller than usual for a Japanese restaurant. Lacked the flavorful taste that hits the palate with contentment.
Ambiance was casual and think they needed more help to keep up with the service.
Their new and hope they can adjust the minor; yet important changes along the way!

10 Star Resturant For Sure. I absolutely Looove this place. I would drive from Indio to DHS just to eat here, Thank God I love down the street from Dom though. Great Chef!!! I will be a regular from now on, reasonable price! GREAT Amazing Food!

Outstanding food and even better service. Our waiter couldn’t have been nicer. Gave us a refill on our miso soup and some edamame as the sushi chef was very busy. Everything was delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. Highly recommended!

I have enjoyed sushi for many years ever since living in Hawaii. I have yet to find comprable sushi until I found domo. The menu is endless and so far everything I have sampled has been great.

Loved it! The bibimbap was delicious and the waiter was so nice. Everyone working there was great. Definitely recommend and will come back.

Who knew you would find such amazing sushi rolls in the middle of the desert. Very fresh meat/​fish, you can tell from the taste. Presentation and staff outstanding as well. Definitely recommended!

So glad we finally have a good sushi restaurant in dhs. My husband and I have been here many times. I really enjoy the beef teriyaki, but the portion size is on the small side. All the sushi we have was delicious.
Friendly staff, we will def be back.
I am only giving it 4 stars because they have the same problem the restaurant before had… Smells like sewage. That building has always had this issue, just sucks trying a new place and the first thing you smell is poo. Don’t punish these people, give it a try. Hopefully they can figure out whatever the smell issue is.

This place is amazing the prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful you definitely will not be disappointed coming here I got to say more so that gets into the review section and not the tips section I don’t know what else to say it is a little small on the inside but they have a beautiful patio it’s Korean Japanese and I believe Chinese cuisine and so far everything has been amazing
