History

Established in 2012.

The Wellington brand was originally founded in 1977, began as a home insulation company located in Minneapolis, Minnesota by Gary and Libby Woods. Wellington quickly became one of the largest insulation companies around and looking for additional products to sell, windows became a popular product in the energy savings category. In the 80’s Wellington began offering a series of maintenance free windows. Now over 34 years into the Wellington history the Wellington Window is the warmest, strongest, most durable replacement window sold in this part of the United States. Changing the way windows are offered to the public Wellington has been the pioneer in interior colors, baked on exterior finished and Heat Mirror Glass. Wellington has expanded into the fields of home remodeling, exterior and interior products.

Business Owner

Brent Woods has had an active role in the Wellington brand since 1995. He first began as a full-​time carpenter installing Wellington Windows and then as time passed Brent went from construction to sales to sales management and finally became the Vice President of sales and marketing for Minneapolis, Milwaukee and the Chicagoland area.

In 2012, Brent purchased the Wellington brand and is now the President/​CEO of Wellington Home Improvements. Since taking hold of the Wellington Window brand, Brent has continued to develop and improve the Wellington Window with additional features like Exterior Elements and options that suit the needs of current day customers.
