My furnace went out and I made a Saturday morning call to Dan the owner. He was at my house within the hour and got the furnace working immediately. He took the time to explain the issue and also to diagnose another possible issue. I will use Weather Control again and will recommend Dan to all of my friends

Returning customer to Weather Control and will call Dan for all future needs as he is very knowledgeable and can clearly explain what he is doing, what is working /​not working right, and gives tips to help prolong the life of my furnace. Very reasonable pricing for his service and extra time spent explaining. Strongly recommend.

I paid for one of those $ 79 groupons for an air duct cleaning through another company (I don’t even remember the name), and they tried to nickle and dime me on nearly everything to bring my bill up to $ 800. I declined any additional services, got my $ 79 cleaning, and got some recommendations from family members and friends to find out if any of these services were actually needed. Dan came out to my home the next day, cleaned my furnace coils, recommended the very few things on the list that I should actually get done, and within what time frame (Months, years, etc.). I live all the way out in Wheaton so I’m not necessarily close to Des Plaines, and he was still able to fit me in and didn’t say anything about the drive. Long story short, next time I need a service done I’ll be calling Dan instead of buying a deal off Groupon!

I came home from work the other night and my heat wouldn’t turn on. I called Weather Control and Dan was able to come out very shortly after I hung up with him. He was knowledgeable about what the issue was and fixed our problem right away. The price was very reasonable. We received exceptional service from Dan, and you can tell he has plenty of experience. I will definitely use Weather Control in the future.

I read all of the reviews first before I called Weather Control, can’t be to safe these days. I left a message around 10pm on Tuesday night, to my surprise Dan called me back within 15 minutes. We spoke about the issue at hand with my furnace. I felt it was better to wait until the next day and be the first appointment. He called me first thing in the morning, (6:30am) & was at my house by 8:00 — 8:15am. Looked over the furnace and told me what was wrong with it. To my surprise it wasn’t that bad and it wasn’t going to cost a arm & leg to fix either. I do have to maintain the furnace (which I have not done), but he did go over things just to make sure that I was aware and understood what he was telling me. I am happy to say that I was plesently surprised with such a knowledgable and professional guy. I have already marked Dan on my calendar when I need to call him back to service my furnace and or air conditioner in the future.

I called Dan late on a Sunday evening. Dan came out the next day and provided me with three choices for possible repairs. He provided much detail on what could be wrong and that the solution we chose might not work but was worth a try as it was the cheapest alternative.
I am pleased to say that it did and does continue to work. Thank you Dan for providing honest, quick and inexpensive AC repairs!

Dan was able to come out an hour after I called, for a non-​emergency call, even. Once he was there, he was up-​front about his pricing and went above and beyond. We called him to clean the A-​Coil on our AC system and he did that, but he also made sure the system was problem-​free and working as it should from top to bottom. Beyond that, his rates were reasonable and based on time, not on a service list.
It was probably the best HVAC service call I’ve had in the last decade or so and we’ll definitely be calling Weather Control again.

Called Dan on a Sunday after i put a hole in my condenser coil trying to mount a humidifier. He was very helpful on the phone explaining that it was not an emergency that i had done that. Came to take a look at my furnace promptly, and emailed his pricing shortly after. I had him install a new coil and replace our 20+ year old furnace with a new 2 stage unit. I will defiantly call him back in the fall to install a humidifier on my new furnace and for any other problems i have in the future. Didn’t talk to my wife or myself like we were idiots, and cleaned up after himself when the work was done.

Woke up in the morning to a cold house and so I called Weather Control. Dan arrived within a hour to assess the problem. Nice guy seems to know about our furnace and very knowledgeable. He also gave me a couple of recommendation which I am considering for the future. I didn’t give them a five star because I only use one service from them. I’ll keep them on my vendor contact list. I will definitly use them again and highly recommend. I’m actually planing on changing my ac unit for a high efficiency unit and Weather Control will likely be doing the installation for us.
