I have seen Dr. Hoag for at least 10 years. It takes a while to get an appointment with her, because she is one of the few dermatologists that specialize in medical dermatology, instead of cosmetic dermatology. I have found my visits with her to be thorough and not rushed. She always takes time to answer my questions. If you are concerned about a possible cancerous spot, she is the doctor to visit.

I really appreciate a DR’s office which does not have a television in the waiting area. Nothing worse than waiting for the doctor while my brain is being evacuated by Regis and Kelly or some such nonsense. The staff might do well to be a bit more personable but otherwise no complaints. Dr Hoag is friendly and very upfront about what may and may not be covered by insurance. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. I highly recommend dr hoag.

Wish I could review Dr. Hoag who came recommended from my mom, but they aren’t accepting new patients for skin checks. Not a problem. I’m always happy for practices when they are busy enough to turn away new patients, but the woman I spoke with was rude and gruff on the phone.
As a small business owner, I find it very poor practice for anyone dealing with customers to be stand-​offish and dismissive. It takes very little to treat customers with class and grace.
