A&A is a full service certified public accounting firm founded in 1997 by Dr. Yass A. Alkafaji, CPA. The firm serves clients in the USA and abroad. The main office is located in Des Plaines with operations in Dubai, UAE. The firm serves clients in several industries including physicians, dentists, service companies, not-for-profit, hospitality, R&D, employee benefits and pharmaceuticals. Most of our clients are closely held businesses with some medium size enterprises. We provide a wide multitude of services including tax preparation services, audit of financial statements, compilation of financial reports, special audit procedures, pension and healthcare plans administration, business valuation, fraud investigation, litigation support, bookkeeping and healthcare and general business consulting.

Business Owner
Dr. Yass Alkafaji is an academician and a practicing certified public accountant. He is the founder of the accounting firm Alkafaji & Associates, Ltd headquartered in Des Plaines with operations in Dubai, UAE. Dr. Alkafaji has a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Mississippi State University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Texas at Austin. Yass is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the state of Illinois, a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Over more than thirty years, Dr. Alkafaji has developed a high level expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation and business consultation. Previously he worked in several local and regional accounting firms prior to establishing his own firm in 1997.
