Ouch and itchy I think my wife has poison ivy from doing yard work in our house, it was getting pretty bad so we hit up Walgreens to ask a pharmacist if they had any ideas what might be good for it! It was almost 7pm at night and it’s nice to know a place close to our home has a pharmacist on duty that late!
The store is clean and has everything from booze to toys to q-​tips!
The Pharmacist was nice and took her time looking up what might be my wife’s best option! We ended up getting some alcohol! The cleaning kind, not the whiskey kind to try and dry to Poison Ivy out. If it keeps itching like this, I might want to get her the Whiskey kind next time!

Handed a coupon to the clerk and as I left I realized she had not processed the coupon. When I brought this to her attention she smiled and giggled awkwardly and said she couldn’t do anything. So I asked for the manager who also refused to do anything but gave the coupon back and said to use it again sometime. I will stick to other Walgreens in the area. This one always has horrible service. I would love for CVS to open a store in the area.

I once lived across from a Walgreens in Milwaukee. It was like having a beer store, tobacco store, candy store, beauty store, candy store and pharmacy at my finger tips. This Walgreens fills those very same needs. It doesn’t open until 8AM which seems late. The prices are usually higher than say Dahl’s (right East of it) or dollar stores. I don’t get sick often so haven’t used the pharmacy. The staff has always been friendly. Read this review and BE WELL.

This Walgreens seems to be very poorly run. Be sure to double check the price on the shelf compared to what rings up at the register. The last few times I shopped here things cost more than the price shown on the shelf. Instead of the clerk double checking the price after I questioned the difference, I was told I was wrong & needed to be more careful next time. Only after I showed the clerk the shelf sticker showing the lower price was I refunded the difference. I appreciate that there is a lot of stuff & prices in the store to adjust, & that mistakes will happen, but this Walgreens dropped the ball multiple times in situations where they had a chance to recover from those mistakes. I am avoiding this Walgreens from now on since I don’t like playing their price roulette.

I know that Walgreens in general isn’t a fantastic business but this location seems like a slight step below many others. It felt like there were fewer available items in some of their departments (like office supplies or groceries) than at many of the other locations that I have been to.
It definitely isn’t specific to this place, but Walgreens also seems to have less and less competitive prices. Stop by a Target or Hy Vee and you’ll definitely save yourself some money and probably have a better shopping experience.
I will concede that they have a decent location and a fairly convenient parking lot setup.

Do you like waiting in line for a very, very long time to get your prescription filled?
Do you enjoy terrible customer service?
Is it fun for you to call ahead to see if a prescription is ready, be told that it is, and find out when you show up that it will be a 15 minute wait because it wasn’t ready after all?
This Walgreens is for you.
Never before in my life have I seen a Walgreens more poorly run. For some odd reason this pharmacy almost –NEVER– has a retail clerk working in the pharmacy. What’s wrong with that? Well, for starters the pharmacist is working the retail counter and not FILLING THE PRESCRIPTIONS!
I’ve waited in line at this pharmacy for longer than 30 minutes on several occasions. When I mentioned to the pharmacist that it might be a good idea for them to advocate for their customers and get some retail help it was met with a shrug.
Been a loyal Walgreens customer all of my life and its about time for that to change. Shame on you Walgreens, this isn’t how a real Walgreens should be run.
