The Des Moines Embassy Club has served as a personal sanctuary, social outlet, and business network for over one hundred years. These traditions remain just as strong today at the Des Moines Embassy Club’s downtown location on the 34th Floor of the Ruan Building and its West Des Moines location overlooking Lake Crescent.
Both locations are ideal for entertaining clients, interviewing, cocktails with friends and coworkers, and memorable evenings out. The Club is also available for meetings, weddings, seminars and other private events. Catering services can also travel to your location of choice.
History
Established in 1912.
The Des Moines Club first opened its doors in 1912 at 800 Locust. It found a new home with the opening of Ruan Center in 1975. In 2002, the Des Moines Club and the Embassy Club (reestablished in 1946) merged to create the Des Moines Embassy Club.
