Kinetic Computer

After calling the BBB and the Iowa Attorney General, my computer and money was returned to me. Upon receiving my computer I took it to Haddock computer who ran several tests only to find that the hard drive cable needed to be replaced. So Im not sure if I was being swindled or Kinetic computer did NOT know what they were talking about, which sadly I believe both. First they told me it was the cable, then the hard drive then the logic board. This isn’t about hot tempers or antsy customers this is about about customer service. If I call Best Buy several times in hopes to get questions answered, I’m not told: «Well because you’ve called so many times, from now on you cannot call here, you need to speak to our attorney.» I am happily guided to the department that can answer my questions. It is completely cowardly to direct one’s CUSTOMER to your business attorney because you don’t feel compelled to be honest. So again I say DO NOT use these services. They will either take a extreme amount of time to repair your computer, lie to you about which part (s) need to be replace and then direct you to «their attorney» who will also not answer or return phone calls. If you want your computer fixed take it to a reputable company. Yes it MAY cost you more but you’ll have it back in a timely manner.

after reviewing the few reviews listed here, I feel compelled to add this: kinetic computer has been in the business of providing reasonably priced computers and computer services for many many years, serving thousands of very satisfied customers a year.
the handful of negative reviews shown here are from the very very small number of disgruntled and impossible-​to-​please individuals who come to the front door of a business and pay bottom dollar for rehabbed used equipment and expect state-​of-​the-​art performance from machines not designed to execute the functions these buyers demand. to complicate matters, while attempting to reach a satisfactory conclusion, these customers lose their composure and tempers and their civility quickly exits the conversation.
that’s when I am called in, as Kevin and Jason feel that type of behavior has no place in their place of business.
sadly, this type of person exists.
