Four Points by Sheraton Seattle Airport South

Well, after a long day of traveling, I was happy to check into this new SPG property. Although my room key was not activated properly, the front desk staff were very friendly, and housekeeping offered to put my luggage in my room so I wouldn’t have to haul it back downstairs again. Please note, my room was lovely. Where this property is missing the mark is with their restaurant. As I approached the bar, I was not greeted with a «Hello»; however, was swiftly told there was no food for 30 minutes (while the bartender was watching TV). Apparently, she broke her pinky nail which was a devastating moment in the past two days. My flight was delayed for 2 hours and then we sat for over an hour due to mechanical difficulties, so I had a bit of a bad day, too. It just got worse. Michelle (bartender) was complaining to the other two servers, they ran out of some dishes (by 6:00), which resulted in an unacceptable experience. I can honestly say this has been the low point of service in my business travel.

I’ve stayed here before with ok results. I’m an SPG gold member — and my room has a view of a wall. Not ok.
Tonight the shower had no hot water — 7pm at night? The front desk told me they’d «reset the water heater — should take 15 minutes to get hot water. Um no. Not ok.
Clean — but not acceptable level of service for someone who spends 250 nights a year in hotels.
Epic FAIL SPG.

Hotel was very clean and bed was comfortable. That is the only positive that I have to say. Usually people in this industry look for how they can be accommodating and helpful however the front desk person we encountered was condescending and rude. Every word he said came out with an attitude. He treated us very poorly and we left the hotel just feeling so deflated (really put a damper on our night away)… I wanted to really love this hotel and we would have planned to stay often as it is in perfect location to the airport and we travel often. Sadly, we will be avoiding this one in the future. Customer service weighs heavily on my choice of where to stay and they really missed the mark here. Had it not been for the poor treatment of one employee we probably could have loved this hotel. I believe he was some kind of supervisor so therefore I do not want to support a business who’s leader sets a tone of that kind of behavior.

Great hotel brand new staff is amazing and the rooms are clean the bar is also fantastic they have great service and the chef is fantastic

We were passing through and just needed a place to stay for the night. It seems to be located in a bad area of town. The staff was very friendly upon checking in, but I was unable to convince the guy at the desk to wave the parking fee. I think it’s crazy that they own the garage and still charge a fee! We asked for suggestions for places we could walk to as our kids were sick of being in the car. This isn’t really the neighborhood to be walking in, but we heeded his advice and walked to the little thai place down the steet, which was awesome! The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The entire hotel smells great! Even my 4 year old mentioned how great it smelled. I didn’t like that they didnt have an indoor pool or have a free breakfast. For the price, it was ok. I will find somewhere else to stay next time I’m in the area.

This hotel is legit! Clean and new; smells fresh! There is a parking in the back; breakfast is not included, its not too far from downtown.

Got a great deal for our pre-​cruise hotel stay.
I called the hotel when we landed in Seattle to ask how often the shuttle came. They told me to grab a taxi and they’d pay for it when we arrived. Interesting, but ok! So we did that and I alerted the front desk gentleman who came and paid our driver. I later learned that their shuttle driver that night called out, and I really appreciated the hotel going the extra mile and still honoring a free ride!
Our room on the 3^rd floor was nice and had really tall ceilings. The beds and pillows were comfy. The bathroom was a little strange as I think they were going with a modern look, but it worked.
There weren’t any restaurants within walking distance other than a McDonald’s that was down the road. Being jet lagged, I went downstairs around 4:30am for coffee and they said it wasn’t available til later. No big deal, but was I dragging!
Overall, the staff was friendly, the room comfortable, and an overall good quick stay.

The hotel is very new. The first room I was given smelled like fresh paint and new carpet. I would have stayed in it but it was a handicap room and the shower head was only 4 feet from the ground. Not good for a 5’11″ guy. The staff was accommodating and quickly changed rooms for me.
As for the room, it is clean and quite. The only negative is that the hotel it is located right next to the Pacific Hwy which can be loud if your room is on that side of the hotel. My room was on the opposite side so it was quieter.

This facility just opened as with any new startup, people and processes need to be vetted out. The facility is smartly appointed, business casual look and feel, good open spaces, room size average but it’s the staff. They smile, they generally care and make you feel at home. One star short due to standard room size. My new home for the next 2 months.
Update: I have stayed now 12 days, food at bar/​restaurant menu is limited but is very very good and made to order. If you want a party, loud lobby hotel stay somewhere else. If you want business causal, personal service and very clean facility then book it!

I stayed at Four Points by the Sheraton just to check it out, so when I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by
Edith she was Very welcoming with a Smile on her face she answer all my questions even upgraded my room for me, I stay at many hotels because I travel a lot and I find that Edith has Very Excellent customer service, the room she upgraded me to has a nice view of the water Puget Sound Highly Recommend this Hotel.
I also fount a local church across the street called Citadel Church WOW that’s Awesome Church

First night in Seattle. Got a tad of problems with the wifi checkin. Luckily the night auditor Michael was very attentive and patient helping out. Will try the buffet breakfast tmr n edit it later on.
