At the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families, we are dedicated to helping families and individuals improve their financial position and connecting them with their work and career goals. This first-​of-​its-​kind center is a beacon for those looking for educational, job training and career opportunities by delivering these workforce services. We’re preparing many Central Iowans to find their life’s calling as successful, working Iowans. If a client requires a service that we do not offer on-​site we have a very robust roster of partner organizations for referrals.

Manager

Marvin joins the Evelyn K. Davis Center for Working Families team from DeJear Enterprises, LLC serving as the Owner and General Manager. Now that DeJear Enterprises, LLC has moved into a new phase of operation, it has allowed him to pursue his dream of impacting change and improving lives within the Des Moines community. During his tenure with DeJear Enterprises, he was responsible for project management, consulting, estimating, marketing and fundraising, overseeing an estimated value of projects through 2011 of more than $ 5 million dollars.

Marvin also serves as an adjunct professor for the William Penn University College for Working Adults providing course instruction for both traditional and non-​traditional students including finance, accounting, marketing, organizational behavior management and strategic management.
