Poor poor customer service. Do not accept coupons they send out ok fine. Tried to order a large meal the idiot at the window wouldn’t take the order. She just told me I needed to pull forward to place the order… ok. wtf… get up to the window and she asks for the coupon… ok walks away and comes back to say they don’t take coupons… ok can you just take my order? Nope we don’t accept coupons. OK minus the coupon… nope we don’t accept coupons. Called the manager, he’s just as stupid and also got stuck on the coupon«The owner doesn’t accept coupons» which is not why I called. I’m just trying to get lunch… so off to Federal Way. At least the chicken hasn’t been sitting around all day there. Don’t waste your time at the Des Moines location. They’re too stupid to take an order. Go to the one in Federal Way. It’s clean the people are friendly and the food’s actually hot.

Worse service ever we went twice to ask for honey and both times cashier said, ill bring it to the table and still took for ever also we told the that the coke was out and it was never change during the time we were there. Cashier acts like she is on her own house and she is making us a favor by selling us food. Wake up you are at work you getting paid to work here. Smile and do your job. If you dont like customer service than you are on the wrong place young lady.

Ugh the chicken strips were horrible! Rubbery freezer dried tasting chicken! The only thing good was the biscuits that I had to wait 15 minutes to receive. Wish I went to McDonalds instead — and I’m NOT a fan of McDonalds :(

Let’s see fast food. Been waiting 30mins still no food in drive through. Was asked if I wanted spicy or orginal. Get to the window they say all they have is original and I have to wait for it to cook. Note to self call ahead to make sure they have chicken or just go to kfc.

Until they pull their business out of politics and reverse their stance on gay marriage they will get a 1 star from me just based on principle. Eating at a place that spreads hate is not on my menu wants.

They are the worst! I think the people working are fresh out of prison. They don’t give a shit. The person who took my order asked me what did I order two different times. lol! And they still got my order wrong once I got home. lots of missing food. I waited for 15in for my food and I was the only customer on top of it.

I used to go here a lot coz it is really close to where I work, But it’s too bad that this store don’t accept their ONLINECOUPON that you print from their website, And when you read the fine print it tells you what store are not participating and their store is not listed. They will only accept those are mailed to your home address. Weird I guess they don’t trust their customers with online printed coupon they can always check if it is expired or not. Never will go back in this restaurant anymore. Even with 1 star is not deserving.

KFC is a lot better than this dump. The chicken is so terrible like it was leftover meat. Poor quality service. The cashier was a punk and manager was a person who just came out of prison. Terrible service + Terrible food = stomach aches later that night. Go to KFC first.

Surprisingly delicious fried chicken! The spicy fried chicken is the best! Not fatty or greasy like KFC. The batter is really yummy that they dip the chicken in

The food wasnt too bad but the service stunk the last 3 times i was there at night after 6:30pm. slow service, 2 cashiers in the dining area taking their time taking orders. they accidentally deleted my order on the screen and skipped over me. so i didnt get my food until 7:20pm that day. In the drive thru, the assistant manager, Tyrone overcharged me, and charged me for the car behind me. when i got home i was charged 48.12 just for a combo #4. I seems to me that Tyrone does not now how to take charge of his night staff. when the gals were goofing off, he did not do anything about it and just did his drive thru. The only thing that gave this a 1 star rating was Miguel, the morning manager. he apologized to me, refunded me my money, and tried to make things better with a free meal. if anyone is in this area, only stop by in the mornings or mid-day. if you see tyrone and his staff.(Tyrone is an african american man) just leave. if you have the 7:15 Highline Community College classes, dont even bother swinging by!

Southern Fried chicken. Fast food but still a better than Ezell’s or anywhere else around. Atmosphere of a McDonalds on a bad day. Solid biscuits & Fried Okra. Note: The chicken is intended to be ordered with a Jalapeño(that you squeeze the juice onto the chicken). Was standard 30 years ago, now they charge you $.30 for proper seasoning.

The spicy chicken is quite spicy. I ordered the three piece meal with a biscuit which was quite good and filling. It didn’t seem quite as greasy as some of the other fast food fried chicken places. The meal was about what you’d pay at KFC or Popeye’s. I have never been here before so I thought I’d try it. If I didn’t have a flight to catch, I would’ve chosen something more healthy.

Hadn’t had church’s chicken since leaving Texas over 8 yrs ago, and didn’t know WA had one here, so when being in the area and accidentally finding this place, my family decided to stop by for a quick snack. in general, the chicken still tasted great as well as the side orders, and of course I love their biscuits… but I would watch out how they charge… check your receipt. On their board, I saw the menu, 10 pc meal(legs, thighs only, 2 Lg sides, and 4 biscuits) for $ 15.99, and ended up I was charged $ 19.99. When I looked up again, there was another board next to the one I was focused on that had the SAME meal deal, and it was for $ 19.99, which i didn’t get what the difference was. I tried to explain to the cashier that I was looking at the $ 15.99 and wanted to know why the other one was more when it was the exact same deal. She didn’t know how to answer and the manager came, and he didn’t exactly know how to answer, but at least he was willing to credit me back… I didn’t think it was too big of a deal, but it was confusing… plus for me, I didn’t really like how the manager kept trying to «apologize’» to me by placing blame on his employees as if it’s «their» fault for the mistake, and then he tried to take credit for«wanting» to save me money which was why he’s always near the front… okayyy… You want to save people money, then make sure your menu signs are clarified and accurate. to me, if I hadn’t checked my receipt, then obviously it would’ve been pretty sneaky of them to charge for the higher amount without you knowing…

If this place was closer to my home it wouldn’t take long before the blood coursing through my veins would test over the legal limit for chicken grease. Ezell’s rules the roost here in Seattle but anyone who loves Ezell’s or fried chicken(and I’m not even a fried chicken junkie myself but this stuff is so good it’s bound to please even the most devout Ezell’s …uh… devotee) should waste not a moment in venturing forth. The chicken is battered and fried when you order and the biscuits so delicious you’ll finally understand what all the fuss was about in Sling Blade. Thank you Texas for giving us Church’s. It nearly makes up for giving us George W. Bush and Ashlee Simpson.
