Baskin-Robbins

I took my brother here for a treat and I was not impressed with how we were treated. My brother asked for two scoops of plain chocolate with hot fudge sauce. The woman working behind the counter asked him what kind of cone he wanted and, before he could answer, she told him, «Oh you probably want a cake cone.» Ok. A little weird, but I could totally let it go if it weren’t for what happened next. While she was preparing his order, I went to look at some flavors at the other end of the counter to see what I wanted. When I got back, she was trying to convince my brother that he didn’t really want hot fudge sauce. She was showing him his sundae free of hot fudge sauce and trying to get him to change his mind and I had to firmly tell her that he did, in fact, want hot fudge. She put a measly little but on top of his ridiculously small scoops of ice cream and charged me $ 6.22 for it (including tax.) I refused to get anything else because I was so mad and I will never return.

I honestly don’t like this place …
I’m comparing this to my local basket robins which is located in tacoma .
When they give you samples here, it’s like a drop of ice cream … How are you even suppose to taste anything .
Next, the scoops were small … And I didn’t even order a kids scoop but it sure looked like one .
Last, they charged me extra because I wanted it to go ! I’ve never been charged anything extra for asking for Togo. Idk maybe it’s just me but it seems like this place is cheap. And there definition of Togo is putting the ice cream in a cup with out a lid. Like seriously ?
I’m used to friendly service, not unfriendly service .
Defiantly won’t ever come back to here ! Gonna stick to my tacoma basket robins ! I rarely give one stars but I don’t like this place !

I will never visit this place again. I went in on my birthday to redeem an Email I received for a free scoop of ice cream. After ordering and eating ½ my ice cream I was asked to pay. The employees were extremely argumentative. After I paid for the ice cream the man behind the counter insulted my boyfriend. He eventually admitted that he didn’t even work there but was the father of the cashier! It was a horrible experience to encounter on my birthday. I only went there because I had a coupon/​email and it seemed like a fun offer.

I’ve been a fan of Baskin-​Robbins Daiquiri Ice ice cream since I was a child. The other night I went to this store location and ordered a quart. When I got home I noticed they didn’t fill up the container. Normally they pack it down and make sure your getting a full quart. I noticed it was light in weight but I didn’t really think too much of it. I called them and after telling them what happened, the employee (James) was silent… didn’t say anything. I said «hello», he was still on the phone but wouldn’t say anything. I asked for his name and I said «James, this is not the way a customer service call should be going, can I talk to a manager?». He said there isn’t a manager available, I asked when will there be a manager available… he said «I don’t know». I couldn’t believe what I was hearing and NOT hearing from this place of business. I continued to ignore my complaint and questions I was asking. Last question I asked was «James, when can I call back to talk with someone who can better assist me?»… his reply «I don’t know».

Very disappointed, we haven’t been to a Baskin Robbins in forever, and now I know why!
Last night seemed like a good ice cream night. unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way!
All 5 of us ordered a double scoop in a cup, and one in a waffle cone. Also we picked up 3 big tubs of ice cream to go. Our total was like 39 bucks…4.19 for 2 scoops (small scoops) anyways I was excited to try the cake flavored ice cream but to my surprise it was greasy and gritty, it tasted old. I politely asked the owner if I could have a scoop of a different kind, she said NO… wow I just spent almost 40 dollars at your store and you can’t spare a tiny scoop of ice cream! I will NEVER go to this store again, the owner is rude and the employee that was working last night was also very rude! None of us were impressed with the quality of the ice cream, looks like it time to find a new ice cream shop!
Not to mention the neighborhood is gross and this shop is next door to what used to be a teriyaki restaurant (probably the same owner as baskin robins)

I stopped by for a good reason, and got a scoop of Watermelon Ice and Pistachio Almond with gummy bears. nom nom nom nom. I had great service, the ice cream was great. And yes, I’m a weirdo cause I love gummy bears in my ice cream!
