Action Auto Body

Action Auto Body did a great job repairing my car. The damage was minimal (one bent radiator bracket), but their effort and time spent with me explaining the situation was greatly appreciated. The work cost about half of the estimate from another shop. It’s been about 7 months since the work was done, and everything is still in good shape. The shop may look a little rough around the edges (for example, they don’t have a fancy & sleek waiting room, although there are a couple chairs sitting in the corner of the one-​ish office), but the work is quality.

I can’t say enough good about Action Auto Body and its owner, Chad. I had bumper damage to my car an had been quoted $ 1200 at other places. Chad said he could do what the other places suggested, but suggested an alternative that ended up being $ 80. I returned with another issue and he fixed it for for free. It has been difficult for someone like me without any knowledge about cars to find a good body shop. Chad is honest, customer-​service driven and clearly knows his trade. Action Auto Body will be my go-​to body shop if I’m ever in the unfortunate position of needing such a service again.

I’m not an easy customer to please. Accidents happen, and when they do, having the right body shop is essential. Not only did I find the right body shop, I found the body shop with people who were excellent to work with. Michele, Chad and David (along with all of the shop crew) took exceptional care of my SUV throughout the repair process.
Michele managed some very difficult dealings with the insurance companies– a process that can be difficult, and often falls on the claimant. However, Michele was able to guide me through the claims process, and was always willing to help me out in dealing with the insurance company. Most importantly, I was always able to call Michele or David, and ask questions about the insurance process when I did not understand what was going on. They took the time, far more than I would have expected, to explain every part, and to assure me that the claim was handled properly.
Chad was able to estimate the damage — and describe in greater detail (but in terms I understood), exactly what the process of repairing the car would be. He offered guidance, and has an eye for perfection. He was able to discuss the damage with two insurance appraisers– where I did not have to take any action on my own.
The body work was nothing short of immaculate. I am unable to tell that my car was ever in an accident. This shop took the time to meticulously measure and correct the rear hatch so that every gap was equidistant.
The quality of work shows on the car– the shop crew had the car in show room ready condition when I arrived to pick it up. This shop is nothing short of fantastic to work with, and their quality is unsurpassed.
Going above and beyond: The rental car was arranged for me, from the day I dropped the car off. This made life very easy for me.
