Brooke Tredwell Photography is a solely-​owned life events and portraiture photography business serving primarily Maryland, Northern Virginia and the Washington DC areas. Collaboration is key in serving cllients seeking genuine, lasting and inspiring photography for their weddings, bar/​bat mitzvahs, birthdays, family events and other special moments. Business Owner

Brooke Tredwell recently launched a career in event and portraiture photography after ten years of working in the non-​profit management and public information realm. Brooke has a degree in journalism, a masters in international relations, and a certificate in professional photography. While living in New York City for eight years, Brooke worked in fashion, non-​profit theater and arts, and interned for the United Nations Department of Public Information. After relocating to the mid-​Atlantic region in 2009, she worked at a non-​profit organization focused on benefits for consumers and working Americans. Brooke decided to pursue a creative career in 2013 to meld technical training in digital photography and photojournalism with multicultural families and other subjects in/​near the nation’s capital. Her personality is reflected in the work due to the easy and real connection she strives for each client to experience. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America.
