SLOWTURN-AROUND-TIMEANDLOWQUALITYPRINTS James was the photographer at our school’s First Communion. He took a photo of our daughter in her dress against a professional backdrop, and we were told the print would be mailed to our home in about a week. It took SIXWEEKS to receive our single print, and it definitlely was not worth the $ 30 paid. It was one, 11“x14″ photo that arrived in a manilla envelope without anything sturdy in it to support the photograph, so the photo was bent in a couple of places during shipping. The photo quality itself was *very* poor– the image was grainy like the resolution was too low for such a large photograph, and the photo editing software used changed the appearance of the image so much, it didn’t even look realistic/natural. I would’ve gladly paid the $ 30 for a smaller print if that would’ve made the photo better. Very disappointed!

In the Fall of 2011 my family and I made a special trip from AZ to NH to visit my mother. My mom was suffering from lung cancer and we were not sure if she would survive till our next planned vacation. A friend of my mom knew we were making this special trip and decided to hire Jim Wakefield of Perfect Reflections 2 for a in-home photo session. The plan was to combine the pictures he took with older photos from some of my mom’s photo albums and put it all together in a professional photobook. Jim showed up on time and was extremely friendly and professional during the session. We discussed different options of what the final project would encompass and agreed that final pricing would wait till we had viewed and accepted the final layout of the completed project. After our visit with my mom was over and we were back in AZ we began email communication with Jim, including emailing him additional photos that we wanted added to the project. By the beginning of December Jim was waiting for my mom’s friend to contact regarding an addition photo session with another family member and the project was on hold. On 12⁄12 my mom passed away due to complications of her health issues. With all that planning her funeral and administering her estate, communication with Jim ceased till early February. On 2⁄5 we contacted Jim and explained the reason for the lengthy delay and asked him to proceed with the project with the material he already had. We were told that it should take about a week and that he would email us a link so that we can view and suggest changes before it would be finalized. After not hearing from him for two months we contacted him again and he apologized and told is to look for an email in the next couple of days. This was the last time we heard from Jim.
