12 Oz Studios is a lifestyle. We are a multi-​project brand that’s a tattoo and piercing shop, clothing line, and an art gallery. Our artists have taken home various different awards from tattoo conventions and our piercer is the only APP (Association of Professional Piercers) member in Southern New Jersey.

History

Established in 2005.

Founded by Alex Feliciano in 2005, 12 oz. Studios opened its doors as a custom tattoo and body piercing shop set in an art gallery space. It’s what we call a retail art studio, bringing the best in tattoos, body piercing, and original artwork to the South Jersey/​Philadelphia area. Our shops and all of our employees are registered with the Camden County Board of Health/​Gloucester county Board of Health and we uphold the highest standards of sterilization along with tattoo and piercing techniques. We will continue to grow as individuals and as a shop. We will do all that we can to educate our customers and all others willing to learn about our industry and show how serious we are about bringing the best to our profession.

Alex F.

Business Owner

An artist all his life, Alex set out to create. This passion to create is what keeps him progressing forward, thinking bigger and mastering his art. Alex grew up in Camden New Jersey, just over the Ben Franklin bridge from Philly. His influence was, what seemed to an 8 year old Alex, massive graffiti walls in the mid 80′s. Starting as a graffiti artist, then an airbrush artist, illustrator, and now a world-​renowned tattoo artist. Even with over 75 trophies for his work and being featured in numerous tattoo magazines, Alex has always worked hard to improve his skills and continue learning. He started tattooing in 1997, but not wanting to specialize in any one style, he creates his own unique versions of classic designs as well as custom art tattoo. Qualifying him as a tattoo master.
