Tim Hortons

If this were a limbo dancing school it’d be Shimmy Hortons. And if it sold bugs (like markets in China and Mexico often do) to eat then it’d be Squeamish Hortons. Or at least I would be.
This is a perfectly nice Tim Hortons with really nice servers. It’s part of a gas station, and for that reason I think they haven’t quite ironed out the kinks yet. The servers aren’t as with-​it as some other locations are, and the menu board is completely misleading. It says you’re going to have to pay more for medium and large sweet teas, which is not supposed to be the case — they should all be a dollar. When the server asks «what size tea» which no other location ever asks — they just give you the biggest one because they are all a dollar — it reinforces this menu board mistake. And yet it turns out that yes, they are all a dollar. The menu board is wrong. The service is misleading.
However they were so friendly about changing the small to a large and so sweet that I can’t give them less than a 3 for it. And their coffee was perfectly good, so yay for that. The drive thru is a little tricky to negotiate but it’s nice to have a Hortons away from Transit on a much quieter intersection in Depew, a little west of Transit.
Chain info: Canadian coffee chain that is literally all over Buffalo, where I always order the 4 & 4 which you should try… it’s very milky and very sweet and very delicious. It is for a good friend, but I always have some of it first (since I’m usually paying for it these days) and then judge it compared to all the other locations in town.
And if someone with a large bony structure under their mouth was working here, it’d be Chin Hortons. And if that person ate too many baked goods from here, it’d be Double Chin Hortons. So go easy on the donuts!

Every time I go for an iced coffee they NEVER put enough ice, even when I ask for extra ice they never do and then get they get aggravated when I ask them to take it back and add more ice. For heaven sake it’s an iced coffee.
