History

Established in 2012.

In 2012 Lisa Sadowski decided to open a photography business. For years she had been photographing everything in sight — flowers, waterfalls, family, kittens, architecture, etc. — but it wasn’t until a friend of hers asked her to photograph her wedding that the idea of making her hobby a business was born. So, when Lisa was laid off as a teacher in 2012, she decided to open a photography business focusing on Buffalo wedding photography and Buffalo family photography.

Since then she has photographed weddings, families, newborns, seniors, couples, births, bridal showers, baby showers, maternity sessions, graduations, birthday parties and more. Event photography, wedding photography, and family lifestyle photography are Lisa’s favorites. She has photographed all over Western New York, including Knox Farm State Park, Glen Falls Park, the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, Chestnut Ridge Park, Ellicottville, Downtown Buffalo, Conesus Lake, Como Lake Park, and many other places!

Meet the Business Owner

Lisa S.

Business Owner

Lisa is not just a passionate photographer, but also a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend. After graduating from SUNY Geneseo with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees, she became a certified New York State teacher and taught full time at four school districts in Buffalo, Tonawanda, and Lancaster, but was unfortunately laid off. This is when Lisa decided to open a photography business!

There are a few things Lisa can’t live without: her husband and family, the smiles of her nieces and nephews, her camera, her piano, her cat Obi-Wan Kenobi, and most importantly chocolate. Lisa loves to photograph her hikes to waterfalls, walks through gardens, and trips with her family. She is not just a photographer and teacher, but also a Sunday school teacher, a community choir member, a volunteer at her church, and a believer in giving back to one’s community.

Lisa would love to photograph you family, wedding, event, or just your everyday life!
