My daughter and had this tailor make alterations on a wedding dress. It was a nightmare! Four trips to get it right !!! It was ready finally the day before the wedding Mother of the Bride gown was also brought here. Two visits to get this right. Think twice before patronizing this business.

I’ve been here several times both for dry cleaning and alterations. They’re always very professional, helpful and have some great skills. My clothing always comes back clean and ready to wear. When people ask me where I get my alterations done I don’t hesitate to recommend this place

I went here for my wedding dress alteration and was AMAZED with the skill at which Jasmin was able to alter my dress. I brought Jasmin my dress fairly close to my wedding day, and not inly did she get it to fit me perfectly, she also added a sash and turned the extra fabric cut off from the bottom into a beautiful bow in the back of my dress that she somehow sewed into the fabric of the sash. I highly recommend her for wedding dress alterations or any alteration for that matter. She went above and beyond what I wanted. My dress was complimented so many times it was. the highlight of the night!

I’ve used Chayban’s at their other locations and have had nothing but good experiences. This location, unfortunately, is another story. Not only was my alteration that I had asked for not done, they cut open the other side of a jacket to make a «repair» that was not needed and left a terribly sewn seam where the cut was made. I wouldn’t have minded as much but they never fixed the giant gaping hole that was supposed to be fixed. When I pointed it out I was met with rude and offensive behavior by the shop owner and I sat there and argued with her about how I didn’t think it was fair to charge me since the alteration I had asked for wasn’t done. She quickly fixed the hole while I waited but after arguing for 10 minutes about it and being told«there is always something that can happen»(what does that even mean?) I left out of pure disgust. I will never, EVER be returning to this place. I used to be a big supporter of Chayban’s but will now be looking for a real tailor to bring my stuff to.

I went to Chaybans Depew location after reading several reviews about Jasmine’s work. I was not disappointed! She is extremely friendly, listens to all your requests and will make all the needed alterations until you are completely satisfied. I took my wedding dress to Jasmine @ the Chaybans Depew location. It was less than $ 300 to shorten the length, change the neck line, add cups, and alter the bodice to fit my body better. I bought my dress at David’s Bridal but after reading many reviews about it being a bad choice to get the dress altered there, i looked online. Davids bridal’s seamstress said they wouldn’t change my neckline because of the boning in the bodice blahblahblah, it wont hold up the dress yada yada yada. Whelp, Jasmine did it and did a fantastic job. I may add a bustle to my dress later and will definitely be going back to Jasmine :)

Jasmine(Yaz-meen) is by far the best seamstress/tailor I’ve ever used and is SOOO affordable. She did the alterations on my sister’s wedding gown, including her bustle, for over $ 300 less than what the bridal shop wanted to charge(and considering she used to work exclusively in bridal, she did an amazing job). She also was able to beautifully re-size bridesmaid gowns for all three bridesmaids after a poorly placed order by the same bridal shop(some of the dresses were off by over 2 sizes but looked perfect on the wedding day). Jasmine is also great at being straight with you about what is possible and what it’s going to cost. Her reputation is obvious by the stream of customers coming in every weekend looking for hems, alterations, and dry cleaning. She is super talented and I would recommend her to ANYONE!
