History

Established in 2013.

After practicing traditional Veterinary Medicine for over a decade, I reached a turning point in which I found myself searching for more options and tools to treat and prevent disease. I’ve always believed that there are different ways to achieve similar results in medicine. Now I focus on balancing the whole patient vs treating a system or symptom.

In my search, I discovered new passions in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (Acupuncture, Herbs, Tui-​Na, Food therapy), as well as Sound therapy, Essential oil for pets, and Energy Medicine. These therapies can be used independently or collaboratively along with Western Medicine.

Zen Pet is about balance. My commitment is to integrate the traditional training and expertise that I received in Veterinary school with services offered in Holistic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine to enrich animals lives and therefore clients as well.

Business Owner

After completing my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and Small Animal Internship at the University of Minnesota Veterinary College in 2003, I moved to Colorado to begin my career. Over the past decade, my experience has included Emergency Medicine, Shelter Medicine, General Practice, and more recently Eastern Medicine.

I opened ZEN PET in 2013 to provide unique mobile holistic services to pet owners in the Denver and greater Denver area
