After 25 years of buying printing and shipping supplies here(remember Dixon?), they no longer want my business. With a $ 50 minimum scrawled on a sheet of paper and hung on the door, they might as well put up a sign that says NOTRESPASSING – KEEPOUT. That’s how xpedx rewards customer loyalty. What a crock.

Forget about Xpedx and hit Paper Plus at 525 Santa Fe Dr. How weird to go from full service to B2B only. Yes, I have a resale tax number, but didn’t have it on me when I stopped by Xpedx to pick up 4000 envelopes and 6000 panel cards. I was turned away. Went to Paper Plus, will never go back to Xpedx. I can’t quite figure why corporate couldn’t see the flaw in this business model at Xpedx, but Paper Plus serves the public and doesn’t find it problematic. They also happen not to carry a bunch of the JUNK: stickers, pens, wrapping paper, greeting cards, keychains and stuff you can get at average stationery stores: they specialize in paper, envelopes and packaging. They say Disneyland is the happiest place on earth… if you had any doubts this is not Disneyland. I’ve been a customer before and after their transition to business only customers and I just don’t know what they put in the water to make everyone so grumpy. Prices can be good but you have to shop around. some of the boxes we use for shipping are a great deal and some of them are twice what you can get from uline even after shipping costs. Bubble wrap is generally a good deal, their clearance items are smoking good deals. If you want most of the same paper goods at similar prices from people who don’t act like you’ve just run over their dog, consider going up the street to paper plus. shipping supplies are a toss up between xpdex and uline for price and availability.

8 miscellaneous charges to my credit card in less than 2 weeks. Still trying to get this fixed! Might want to check your bank statements closely.

They had exactly what I was looking for! However they seem to only be selling to businesses now and not to walk-in customers. I think we may have be the last walk-ins, but I’m not sure. I would call and ask before heading down there.

This Xpedx store is the place to go if you need boxes, packing supplies, miscellaneous paper supplies, and mailing supplies. The inventory is huge and the store has nice wide aisles so it’s easy to get around. There is rarely a line at the check-out either. On the downside its location is not convenient for the average off-the-street customer, since it’s tucked into an industrial area where most people don’t venture to. Also, the prices are all over the place. Some things, like giant bags of packing peanuts have reasonable prices. But boxes are quite high. Maybe this is the cost of having a large inventory? Anyways, I recommend it because there are so few other places to buy large quantities of paper products.

Paper galore! I love this place. Aisles and aisles of paper, envelopes, boxes, packing supplies and more. The people who work there are always very friendly and helpful. It has a warehouse feel… this is not a swanky stationary store but the pace to go if you need a full ream(or a few sheets).
