It’s a big-​box bank chain. What do you expect? Yes, I’d rather be at a smaller, local bank where I might get to know the tellers and other staff. That said, I’ve moved enough in the past few years that Wells Fargo is convenient.
This location is right next to where we live, but parking is a bit of a pain. There is a parking garage, but I’ve never used it.
My biggest issue with WF is that when I have a large deposit (anywhere from a couple hundred bucks to many thousand dollars), it can take days to deposit. My parents sometimes receive dividends in my name in Washington state, and when they use my deposit slips in Washington, I can’t actually access that money for 5 – 7 business days. For a bank of this size, that’s ridiculous… and a bit dishonest, if you ask me.

I set up a new account at the Cherry Creek office, and upon closing up, was told I only needed my wife’s signature for her to get her card. I preloaded her information into the system, because she didn’t have much time, and even arranged to have her show at the Bear Creek office where we live near. Later at that office, they kept her there for over 45 minutes, which totally defeated my previous efforts to set things up and pre-​load her info. They need to understand that when people are in the space to «get in and get out» … work on the end result and GET THEM OUT FASTER.

I am treasure and make deposits for our condo complex. Often I don’t have the account number but have the checks and a deposit slip from their counter. I was informed today that they will no longer be able to take a deposit if I don’t have the number written in. In other words, they are to discourteous to look up my account number for you to make a deposit. That is just to shortsighted and foolish for me to continue with this organization.
NO, I would not do business with this establishment. Never again.

They staff goes out of their way to help their customers. My only complain is that the parking garage says wells Fargo on it but once you are inside their are NO indicators of where to go to find wells Fargo. There are signs for all the other business associated with the parking structure but I had to wander around for a while before finally realizing that I had to exit the parking structure and walk around the block to enter wells Fargo on the street level – Signs in the elevator would be a HUGE HUGE help. Now that I know this, I would say having this parking structure is a HUGE bonus considering this part of Cherry Creek is a nightmare to find parking in. They also validate for parking which is also awesome.

More fine prints and hidden service fees than you can possibly imagine!
WF would seem to be the hottest bank in Denver the past few years with the marketing and advertising campaign in full swing. The radio ads talking about how WF has been in Denver since the beginning, but I didn’t see a WF in Denver 20 years ago. Why? They acquired banks, like Norwest and Wachovia, that have been in Denver for a long time, so they bought the right to say that I guess.
Consider this bank if you are an attorney and enjoy fine print and debating fees.
You might consider Bellco Credit Union or a real hometown hero, 1stBank, if you want to keep money in your pocket.

We were running a tad late for our appointment to close on our new home, but this location was on the way to the title company, so we stopped by to get a cashier’s check as soon as the mortgage broker sent me the final closing numbers. The teller was super friendly and very efficient. We were in an out in just a few short minutes, cashier’s check in one hand, and a free cup of coffee in the other! Since we do banking with Wells Fargo, the cashier’s check was free. But the best part was that things went so smoothly at the bank, that we weren’t even late to the closing!

Is it just me or am I the only person that has a good experience at a bank. First of all there is nothing more annoying than peak times at the bank when you are in a hurry and the line isn’t moving. So I spent years researching and developing a solution to the problem. I do not go during those times. Its 1015am I’m in the bank and there was no one but employees waiting to help my every financial need or get me a bottle of water. Another thing I noticed in my sociological studies of the customer relation in the finacial system is that if you have money in the bank they’re more willing to help you. So if you like to bounce checks, not make payments on time or just in a bad mood. I do not think you will like it here.

This is the worst Wells Fargo location I have ever been to. Led by Randall Pollack, the branch manager, the employees are uninformed rude and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and bank at the 1st and Steele location.

you’re busy and bustling with uppity people, your clients are annoying and so is the man who did not help me with my student loan. he was too busy to call the student loan dept and have them email him a promissory note for me to sign and mail in. granted, it’s a dumb process, it would have been way easier if they would have just emailed it to me, but that’s not how they roll i guess. i ended up going to another branch, the one on evans and colorado and got what i needed from a much more friendly staff.
also, the parking sucks.
