WallyPark

Used them twice this holiday season, got picked up very fast with minimal wait. First time I used the valet service with the car wash and I was very happy with the service and cleanliness of the car. The second time I used the normal self-​park service and although the parking lot wasn’t as well directed as USA parking, I just found the nearest shuttle in the parking lot, parked near it, and hopped in. Plus a bottle of water at the exit was a nice touch. Compared to my experiences with USA parking, the shuttle service is far quicker and the location is far closer to the airport so my travel time from the airport to my car has been greatly reduced. While I think the parking lot could be better managed as far as where to park; it didn’t really affect me. I will update if I have a negative experience, but both my experiences have been positive.

Parked here for years. The service in the past was great. NOW — not so much, waited at least 30 or more minutes in freezing cold temperatures. When we complained to the driver he said that «management» has cut the number of shuttles and employees to save money. Sorry Wally… save all the money you want — I will be spending mine else where.
p. s. All that people want is a quick shuttle — should be easy.

We waited 25 minutes in 5 degree temperatures, calling the number repeatedly just getting voicemail. When the driver finally showed up he spent a lot of time explaining how short staffed they were. Meanwhile several vans of their competitors came by. I won’t be returning to Wally Park!

Recently used Wallypark for valet service, when we returned our car was not there and it was cold and snowy. We went inside to warm up (with our two young kids) and wait… our car still did not come. My husband checked in at desk and they asked for our ticket (which we gave to the bus driver) they proceeded to looked through hundreds of cards, while my husband spotted our keys. Additionally when we finally did get our car there was only one lane and a long line, valet exit was closed. When I called to seek resolution the GM offered 1 free day of parking for a future visit. I said I wouldn’t visit again unless they could make this visit right, she couldn’t so I declined her offer and will park at Canopy going forward. Very poor customer service, so not recommend.

This place is totally disorganized. Guessing where you should park in order to have any hope of a quick pickup is a real pain. And then the drivers act as if you should have known where to park, or that you’re the one doing something wrong.
Put simply, parking here is not a good experience. I have tried it twice now, and didn’t write a review for the first time, because I believe in giving more than one chance. But I am really unimpressed.

This is the last time we park here. Waiting in the cold, full vans going by, and rude drivers. All show and no go. Don’t bother with Wally Park!

Man, I was out of my car and picked up within 30 seconds. Pretty impressive! Driver not super friendly, but hey, I get it.

just used these guys again and it was so easy and so fast. Friendly driver. I’m gonna keep using these cats

Used valet service, shuttle pickup at the airport was on time and quick. BUT my car had a flat tire. It took about 20 minutes of me waiting before I learned what the problem was. Then when I tried to use my iPad to contact my road assistance company, I was not able to get on the internet. At first no one knew the password and seemed to be shrugging off my requests to be told what it was. Then the password provided was wrong, as were several variations of what they thought the password «might» be. Eventually I was given a copy of an email from the IT department, that password didn’t work either! What I needed was: the information about the phone # for road assistance, which was in the glove compartment of my car. Eventually someone went to my car and got that for me. About two hours after I arrived, road assistance finally arrived and changed my tire.
Everyone seemed very busy, rushing back and forth through the lobby, never stopping long enough to find out what might really help me. Eventually Marcia (I think she was the manager) came to the lobby and helped with with phoning road assistance. That was a whole other set of problems, none of that was WP’s fault.
To top it off, I went to get myself a cup of tea — the pot with what should have been hot water for tea was stone cold. No one had bothered to turn on the burner.
I have always had excellent service at WP, but I realize that until this morning I never had a problem! Now that I came home to a problem with my car, I saw a whole other side of the operation.

I’ve been coming to Wally Park for years, but it’s gone downhill. There have been countless times where I’ve found myself stranded in the parking lot because no driver came to pick me up. This has happened twice to me now. I’ve had to call the front desk to send a driver.
Not impressed with the service here.

Terrible service at Wally DIA. Drivers are not focused on what they are doing. 2 shuttles passed me by in their lot. I advised the driver that eventually picked me up 20 min later and he admitted the other driver could not find me… as I waited by my car! Terrible!
The driver stated it happens a lot.
Go elsewhere to park.

Convenient location for DIA, but their reservation algorithm is deceptive. I made a reservation for a 2-​day, 4-​hour stay; the exit charge was 50% higher than the estimate. Their reservation system ignored my time of arrival and reset it to 12:00 midnight, so I was given a 2-​day estimate when I needed to stay longer. $ 13.95 for uncovered parking in Denver is steep — take the extra five minutes’ shuttle ride and get covered parking for the same rate at Canopy!

I have been a regular for years. A fan of their service.
On suggestion. During busy times they should try to manage more shuttles

This was just like a Chevy Chase movie, only not as much fun. I tried it twice in the last month. It LOOKS like a great system. Easy place to find on a sprawling airport. User-​friendly on-​line reservations. I tried the valet parking ($ 17 per day compared to $ 33 with the airport) because of the lousy weather. Car was filthy, so I made my reservation for inside and outside cleaning. Got back from the first trip and cleaning had not happened — they also did not charge me for it (but wait — there is more). Weather was lousy so I did not argue (although a clean inside would have been nice). But parking turned out to be free, which was a plus. In the dark and the snow, valet attendants handed me a receipt for my parking — i just glanced at amount and it looked about right, so I tossed it in the car and left. A couple of days later I was reconciling my travel expenses and looked again — I did not recognize the credit card number on the charge. Then I scanned through my credit cards, just to be sure it was not mine — it was not. So I waited for business hours and called their Denver location. I told the woman who answered what I wanted and she said «Let me transfer you to that department.» No one there — during business hours — so I left a message, with phone number. It has been 10 days now with no word. Hope the person who paid for me got it off his or her card and this was just an accidental comp by Wally Park. Not a great experience.
But shuttle service was pretty good and much better than my experience with DIA parking — and my car REALLY needed cleaning, so I tried it again. This time I printed out my reservation with the inside and outside cleaning options chosen. Something had made me suspicious of their reservation system, so I handed the reservation sheet to the guy who checked me in for valet parking. A week later I returned to good weather, nearly dry streets (good time to have a clean car) and a filthy car. The supervisor who was watching the valet crew hand out cars then explained to me that «our two computer systems do not talk to each other,» so basically making the reservation and adding requests accomplishes nothing. She said I should have given my request to the person who checked me in and I told her that I had — in writing. She just explained again that the two systems do not talk to each other and that I should have given my request to the person who checked me in. I asked if I should maybe have given the request to a manager and then asked if there was a manager — she (the supervisor) then turned to someone else and said «What is the new manager’s name?» At that point one would think she might genuinely have comped my parking — but, not she instead explained to me that most of their computers were not working and I would have to get in a line with the non-​valet people (who paid $ 4 less per day) to pay to get out. The happy news was that there was no line at that moment on a Friday evening and the woman running that computer was friendly and competent — and pretty fed up with their computer systems («We told them two months ago we need new computers»). This morning it is humorous, but last night I was ticked off to the point of being sarcastic with employees — something I should not do. But if one added a murder, a gorilla and a couple of rambunctious (but adorable) kids, this could make a great Chevy Chase movie. For airport parking, I am going to try USAA or Canopy next time.

I was nearly a weekly valet customer for several years, but the service has been so poor over the last six months, I switched to canopy. During my last visit they lost my car and I was forced to wait for well over an hour. According to the general manager, their corporate offices are not allowing them to hire more desperately needed staff.

The only parking I’ll use at DIA from now on. The lot cost roughly $ 0.40/more per day than the economy lot for the same uncovered, non-​valet parking. Here’s what you get for those four extra daily dimes:
— A shuttle that’s actually usable; we showed up at 6am two days before Christmas, and the shuttle was pulled up to us and the driver grabbing our bags before we could even get all the bags out of the car. When we arrived at 12:45am after flight delays when it was –15 outside, the shuttle was already at the curb, with a second coming in behind it. Due to the location, (compared to Parking Spot or USAPark), that shuttle pickup puts you 5 minutes from the terminal, tops. Nice for when you’re already in a rush.
— Service! Speaking of that –15 night, our battery was dead due to a forgotten dome light when we left. I told the shuttle driver I needed a jump, and within 3 minutes there was a crew with a car, and the shuttle, to help push the car out of the snow into the throughway, and jumped, while the shuttle took my wife up to the office so she didn’t have to be in the elements, and gave her some hot tea (she was sick, so it was immensely appreciated).
My only regret is that I only had a $ 10 to tip out in appreciation of everything.
Even just compared to convenience, parking in Economy is horrible. There’s a couple shuttles trolling around in the end of the parking lot a half mile from you, so on a bad arrival, you wind up walking all the way to the terminal. Even if you luck out on the shuttle pickup, you still have to traverse the garage to get to the terminal.
The service was a completely unexpected, but appreciated cherry on top. Even if I never need that kind of help from them again, I’m glad to know there’s actually people that give a rip at WallyPark.

The getting to the airport is fine, but when you’re back from your trip and waiting to go to where your car is parked, expect a long wait. Now add time to that. That’s how long you’re going to be waiting. When the driver finally got to where we had standing for about half an hour, she blamed it on traffic. That’s odd, because I had seen plenty of shuttles from other companies while we were waiting. I counted 5 from The Parking Spot but only one from Wally Park. The worst part is that some of the people who were waiting weren’t able to get on, because these geniuses only sent 1 bus. If this was a one time thing, I’d let it go, but it has happened far too many times for it to be a coincidence. Don’t use Wally Park. At least not if you want to go home from the airport in a timely fashion.

This is a great way to get to park at the Denver airport. It’s more affordable than parking at the airport and I think every bit as quick. I love the valet service because you get dropped off first and return to your warm car with a bottle of water to boot. On top of that, if you setup an account, all you do is drive off. No transaction needed. It’s a great way to save time at a very affordable rate.

I used Wally Park a couple years ago, they were just great. Then I used a few other airport parking services, which were OK, some not worth it at all.
So I’m sticking with Wally! Prompt, frequent pickup.

I have to agree with several of the other reviews. I parked with WallyPark for years because of their great customer service. Now at drop off you can end up waiting for a bus for 10 minutes or more. At pick up, most of the other companies will have 2 – 3 shuttles come and go before a WallyPark shuttle arrives. I had hoped that this was a rare event so I gave them several opportunities lately and each time it was the same story on pick up.

I like that Wally Park tells you exactly where to park– unlike the DIA lot where it is more of a seek and ye shall find in 20 minutes method. There is always a shuttle ready to take you to the airport and it really doesn’t take long. You can even valet there which is even faster, especially upon return because they’ll have your car ready.
They’ve recently raised their prices though ($ 12.45 per day) which make them basically the same as parking at the airport, however, you can get a coupon online for one free day if you’re parked for at least 3.
