Venice on the Creek

Now you can cruise down the oh so romantic Cherry Creek in a gondola, just like Venice… Except in Venice you wont swift by homeless people sleeping next to their carts under the bridges… But either way, I guess the homeless people just add to the «urban appeal» of the entire activity.
So, I am still not kidding, even though you think I am crazy… You can ride June — August, Thursdays through Sundays from 5:00pm to 10:00pm… But wait, when the sun goes to the other side of the planet and it starts to get darker, the gondola becomes lit by candle-​romance at 8:30pm
Yes, you will be slowly gliding down the Cherry Creek right next to the Cherry Creek bike path, but it is kind of cheesy romantic… So date planners, take note… This is an original, but not a cheap one… For a 60 minute ride with four people in your boat it costs $ 30/​person and if you want your own private boat it costs $ 75/​person. If I were you, I would go for the 35 – 45 boat ride, which is only $ 20/​person for four people in the boat and $ 50/​person for your own private romantic boat.
Bring your camera and your plastic gloves, I wouldn’t dare stick my hands in that water.
