Urban Self Storage is a temperature controlled self storage facility in the heart of Denver. We specialize in providing state of the art, secure and convenient solutions for your storage needs. We offer a variety of sizes throughout our 28,000 square foot warehouse to suit a variety of needs.

History

Established in 2013.

In 2012 we began to see a need for self storage in downtown Denver. With the spectacular growth that our city has seen we began to search for a location to meet that need. We found an existing warehouse and decided to repurpose it. A year later we opened Urban Self Storage and began meeting the storage needs of those who live in and around Denver.

Urban Self Storage is awesome! Affordble and super convenient. Ask for Hosie, he is very kind and understanding. Hosie makes the whole storage rental experience worth it! Also, I sleep better at night knowing that my stuff is safe in Hosie’s hands!!!

I wrote that I had a horrible experience and I would rate them ZERO stars for the uhaul part of their business. I have a follow up. I had to call uhaul and talk to corporate 4 times over 4 days. I Was promised a refund 4 times. They said that the refund had been administered but it had not happened. Today I did receive a full refund of which I am grateful to have this episode over with. ZERO stars again… Why another ZERO… nobody called or emailed me to even let me know that the action had taken place. This was a transaction of $ 1500. Really bad customer service in my opinion. I am happy that it is over and as I stated before I would not waste your time or money working with this uhaul rental place. My hopes is that they will learn some customer service skills and realize that there are people on the other end of their many transactions. Good luck to you if you decide to use them. Employees of Urban Self Storage… try to put yourself in your customers shoes and realize that $ 1500 is a considerable transaction. There are books and classes online that will help you not act like robots and treat people with disrespect. I hope you try to up your game… OR maybe it just doesn’t matter and thats how it is when you rent a truck from a bunch of people that don’t care but just show up to do a job. Sorry you work there but its not my fault. I just showed up to rent a truck. I truly hope you learn how to treat people with respect you will go home with a smile instead of a stomach ache.

I love Urban Self Storage! I wish I had things to store more often so I could give them business.
1. Secure but still easy to access.
–They allow after hours access until 9pm using a coded gate. This was a hard feature to find in Denver proper but it allowed me to move on Weekdays after work.
2. They could have made a lot more money off me by taking advantage of a situation and they didn’t.
–I had to push back my moving date a few days and instead of charging me for a whole extra month or even a half month they only charged me a daily rate for the few extra days. They knew I had no other option than to extend my storage rental and could have totally taken advantage of this fact but they didn’t.
3. Very personable.
–They called me half way through my storage time to see how everything was going and if I was happy with their place. That was above and beyond thoughtful.
4. They place was SUPER CLEAN!
5. Location was ideal and super easy to access.
Use Urban Self Storage! Its the best!
