Scam alert. If you make your reservation through a third party like priceline or
your reservation is non-​refundable. Also, they claim pet friendly but they don’t tell you there is a $ 100 sanitation fee (non-​refundable). I discussed with the front desk and they were not friendly about it. This is a very sleazy way of doing business: If this is Marriott owned, I’ll be not staying at any Marriot owned places for a while.

Wow, not a very nice Townplace Suites! I’m currently staying here, for business this week. It was a last minute reservation, so I tried this property for the first time.
I’ll start by saying this hotel is very dirty! The bathrooms and kitchen etc. are out dated and not very clean. As for the beds, they are old and lumpy, like real old. The sink in my bathroom doesn’t drainage of yesterday morning they still haven’t fixed it.
Walking outside I noticed the common area grill was on with a big flame coming from the side burner, but nobody was around? I mentioned this to an older gentleman at the front desk, maybe s manager? He wasn’t very nice about, he acted like I was putting him out! I then asked him again about the sink, which still hasn’t been fixed, and again with the attitude. Really, who is theme guest? Why the attitude? I won’t be coming back to this location on my next business trip, no way! Better Marriott properties in the area. Sorry, but you lost my business.

Nice room with full kitchen, not a 4 star because…
1. Breakfasts hot entrees were disappointing.
2. Cranky/​unpleasant staff when it came to requests.
3. A little more cleaning of toilet, showers and floors is need when guest stay for a longer visit.

My husband and I are staying here for 3.5 weeks after moving to Denver while looking for a home in the area. We’ve been here for a week so far. This hotel was one of two options provided by my husband’s employer that would allow us to bring our pets.
The walls are beyond thin. Anytime someone stayed in the adjacent room we could clearly hear their conversations to the point that we could respond to their questions.
The kitchen is TINY and the stove is MINIATURE. The refrigerator is a step above my college dorm mini fridge. Not exactly enticing.
Not the cleanest hotel, their tiny free breakfast area is always jammed and hardly stocked with VERY limited offerings.
They do have free reliable WIFI, dog treats available in the tiny lobby. The hallway is often smelly of either food or pot. Walkable close to southmoor station for ligh trail as well as King Soopers grocery, not too far from Target, Whole Foods. Management staff is helpful.
Overall, I’d prefer not to stay here. For the price, one night would work IF you don’t have anyone staying in the room next to you and you’re not interested in partaking in the free breakfast.

The hotel itself is one star at best. The location is fair, and the managers are great to work with. That being said, the overall experience was subpar at best, the room rates were high, and I was frightened to stay at this place. The management of this facility is outsourced to another firm. I have reason to believe this was an old apartment complex or hotel, and was renovated maybe 20 years ago. The odors circulating throughout the hotel from those who chose to cook Indian food permeated throughout the entire facility. The hotel staff were unresponsive to numerous requests. I had to push hard to escalate matters to management. I was assured that the issues that I raised would be attended to. There is a Denver transit station in the adjacent parking lot, and probably over 1000 apartments in nearby buildings. As such, the hotel parking lot is a major thorough fare for people getting to where they want to go, as well as the nearby Chili’s restaurant and movie theater.
Like I said before, working with management who acknowledges the problems of their facility, doesn’t deny that issues exist, and is willing to do what it takes to make my experience better is why I gave this place two stars. I do not, however, plan on staying here ever again myself.

The housekeeping staff is out of this world! We’re in the middle of an extended stay, and our housekeeper brings treats for our dog up to us from the lobby and even brought a collapsible water bowl and poop bags.
Hotel is clean and obviously I love the staff. It is a little further from downtown, but it is located next to the light rail and nothing seems to really be that far away anyway.
In the neighborhood of the hotel you have a King Soopers, Starbucks, movie theatre and a few little restaurants across the street in a plaza. Venture 1 city block up the street and you’ll find a Whole Foods, Petco, Chipotle, and a Target on the other side of the street.

Nice hotel, sort of in the middle of nowhere. Suites are comfortable, with a better little kitchen than some of my friends’ apartments, with a stovetop and oven, a toaster and microwave and fridge. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Paul Mitchell toiletries and fun shower curtains. The end rooms have this unusual diagonal door setup that looks pretty cool, although I’m not sure how it is in practice. No safe in the closet. everything seems nice and new, and not smelly, so it’s totally fine, if generic and not in an awesome location.

I really wish I could have giving this property the highest rating. At one point, it definitly was an excellent rating but a mishap on the staffs part bumped it down a notich.
We needed a quick weekend get-​away to Denver (from Austin) and the airfare was excellent, car rental rates out of this world but the hotel availability and pricing was challenging. Finally we found this place and, although out of downtown by about 14 miles, it was right on a light rail route. Additionally, the Mariott site was advertising a ‘transportation package’ for $ 10 more each night we’d get free light rail tickets (daily) for two! We saw other hotels nearer to downtown, decent rates but much higher, so we opted for this package.
When we got to the hotel to check in, the staff knew nothing about this package and had to research it and let us know after we checked in. It turned out, during the initial call back to us, that there was nothing they knew to do. They still seemed puzzled about the package even though it was still on the Mariott website, same place we made the reservation for the hotel! I asked if they could put us up in a TownePlace near downtown and give us the best rate possible. Another phone call later came with news that the rate for downtown was no better than we could get on our own. I asked if they could lower the rate back down to the pre-​package rate since it was obvious they couldn’t offer it to us and they said ‘no problem’.
Then the desk clerk (Brett?) called back a few minutes later and said his manager said they’d just go and get us daily rail passes for the two days (Sat/​Sun) we needed them at no cost to us! Yay!
They said they’d be ready for us by the time we came down for breakfast the next morning but they weren’t so we took the car out for part of the day.
When we got back they had the rail passes but they bought two single 1 – 2 zone passes for 1 day.
(It turned out that Saturday was free rail day since a new line was being introduced).
Problem is that the hotel is in zone 3! The single ride passes they bought us were not usable at all in the zone we were in. If they had just bought us each a full day pass, like we were told in the first place, there would have been no issue and this rating would have been excellent. I suspect the person buying the tickets wasn’t saavy enough, otherwise, at the very least they would have known we were in zone 3 ©. Oh well, on to the rest of the stay…
The hotel was very nice, staff very nice and everything was very clean. I was very happy with our room, it was nice and clean and very suitable for our stay. The wi-​fi was free but most of the time was extremely slow and unusable in my opinion.
The fact that this hotel, and none other comperable that we could find, was right on a rail line is a big plus. Rail passes for 1 day are $ 11.50 and takes you anwhere, all day long. If you want a single ride from this area (zone C) to downtown, it’s $ 4.00 per person and takes about 25 minutes to get downtown. There are actually 3 lines that come to this stop (Southmoor) so frequency is very good! Additionally the hotel sits next to a major bus line as well so if you want to ‘bus it’ instead, you’re in luck.
The hotel offers a light breakfast: cereals, waffles you can make, fruit, yogurt, breads, coffee, etc. and always was well stocked and the area clean.
All in all this was a very good stay and I’d definitly stay there again because of the good transportation nearby. There is a Chili’s next door and an AMC theatre next door, plus there is a large grocery store about 1 block away and other shopping that is ‘walkable’. Area looks to be safe, we always felt fine walking anywhere.

Not too bad! A simple extended stay type of hotel, currently updating its rooms. My boyfriend is staying in one of the old rooms, which has features and styles similar to a Super 8. (A bit outdated, though quality)
They clean 2x a week, a super clean if you leave them a few bucks. I like it.
Plus! Right next door to a movie theater and a chili’s AND a King Soopers.
