The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Denver

A must Spa when in Denver! I love this spa! If you need a massage, Caitlin is the best! I am not kidding, I fell asleep and she helped me with some stretches for my back stress. Kristin and Jen will give you the most relaxing pedicure of your life and make your hands look gorgeous.

I was very happy with my experience at this spa. I had Diedra for my massage and she did an excellent job– don’t be fooled by her small frame, she has strength! She wasn’t pushy with trying to enhance my service and was very thorough with explaining my service and asking about concerns. Choosing an oil was a plus– most spas charge extra for this. I was very pleased with the cost as I used Spafinder gift cards to pay for my discounted service (Yay for Martini Mondays!). They have specials during the week so be sure to check before you book. Speaking of booking; the receptionist was very professional and helpful. Both the one on the phone and the spa attendants. Everyone working here was very warm and friendly.
The spa was clean but a little small for my liking. For the cost you’d expect a sauna and another shower and bathroom stall. And speaking of bathroom stalls, they’re not very private. Also, the whirlpool is a little funky– not ADA compliant I’m sure of that. I’m a decently in shape 29 year old woman that struggled getting in and out of it. I wonder how many have fallen trying to step in and out of it? One recommendation: water in the other relaxation lounge. These aren’t make or break but just a heads up for those that are really picky with their spas.
I’ll definitely come back when we visit Denver again.

Went to a two-​day conference at the hotel. Though I didn’t care for the hotel music, and rather standard décor for a fine. American hotel; the conference food and service was top notch.

Wow! This place is amazing and worth every penny. Drew did a wonderful stone massage, and was very attentive to my needs and was extremely polite. The women’s locker room was peaceful, clean and relaxing. The sauna was just the right temperature. They have tempurpedic mattresses in the massage room, and it’s incredible. The pedicure and manicure were some of the best I’ve had. Not rushed, not crowded, got to relax and drink a glass of champagne. Thank you for such a great day! I would highly recommend this spa and the incredible service.

Just had an amazing experience with my first Vichy Massage with Mel, the tall awesome hottie with a Michigan heart of gold. It’s my birthday, and it really felt like it. Never heard of Vichy before and glad I tried it. Probably better with a deep tissue first if you can afford to do both, but I was already relaxed.
So fun, so relaxing, and interesting.
I feel like humans were designed to figure out how to enjoy nature and technology in such a way. Beautiful.
Skin feels nice too :). Recommend for sure.

I love the occasional splurge on a good high-​end hotel spa day, but would call this experience just adequate. I will agree that the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and very on top of keeping things clean, stocked, and organized. I pretty much had the place to myself which was pretty fantastic. The whirlpool with cold scented washcloths and the relaxation lounges were the a highlights of the amenities. The showers were well stocked, although I could only get one of the showers to turn on at all (had to switch stalls). I also kept hearing the sounds of heavy things moving or being dropped, which definitely put a damper on the shower and steam room experience — the other reviewer mentions a gym next door, which explains the loud disturbances (I’d really been hoping it was just a construction job or something, not a permanent feature). And finally, I was very disappointed in the lack of a dry sauna. I had a massage, which again was pretty good, not great. Overall, I think the place is very lovely and has potential, but I don’t think I’ll be back. I typically drive up to Boulder for the St. Julien Spa, and would consider making that drive over returning here. Or perhaps I’ll give The Four Seasons or Brown Palace a try next. I was hoping to find a spectacular spa closer to home but unfortunately this was not quite it.

I did a spa night at the Ritz and had a fabulous experience. The thoughtful, kind, and genuine service set this apart from my last spa experience at the Four Seasons Denver spa. Everyone here just made me feel very welcome and comfortable. They just felt nice, and it wasn’t that fake «I’m getting paid to be nice.»
The spa is exceptional. It feels so luxurious and has such a relaxing ambience. The treatment rooms are very large and have a flatscreen TV with beautiful relaxing nature images. There are two relaxation lounges, which are stock with different teas, cucumber water, and light snacks (nuts, dried fruit). There is a fantastic steam room with a eucalyptus spray along with a jacuzzi with chilled towels soaked in essential oils. There are large showers that are totally stocked with everything you need.
My facial with Ashlee was so relaxing. She was a very knowledgeable aesthetician and was able to customize my facial based on what I was looking for. The Eminence products used were so great – you could feel them working, and they smelled so nice, too!
When I went to check out, the staff made sure that I was pleased with my service and were just so sweet. Ashlee even left me a few samples of products to try. Overall, I was very impressed with my experience and look forward to returning again very soon.

I had a massage and facial. The massage was ok, the facial was great. The hotel gym is right next door though and the whole time I could hear weights dropping. It was not so relaxing and poor design by the hotel. Pricing is what you expect from a Ritz spa. I would not return.
