Business Owner

Matthew Burkett moonlights as a professional globetrotting fly angler. He was featured on the NBC Today Show, is credited with the unofficial Colorado state record rainbow trout (33″ 25.8 lbs.) and is a +10-​year member of the R.L. Winston Pro Staff. He is the founder of The Flyfisher Group, a capital, consulting and holding company that specializes in growing sustainable assets. A passionate philanthropist, he serves his communities through the Burkett Family Foundation and Lincoln Hills Cares. He remains devoted to the notion that fly fishing creates an invaluable commodity: the ability to quiet your mind.
