The Bearded Man Auto Detailing

My van is like new! Raul is a professional guy; he comes to you which in my case was very convenient, is thorough and offers detailing services at a reasonable cost. I acquired a used ’04 Sienna van a few months ago which, although in incredible shape, needed lots of love and a professional touch to restore the interior to its former glory. Raul was great about scheduling and confirming, and showed up promptly at 9 AM. I went for his highest package, and with no regrets. He spent all day working on the van, which is not a small vehicle by any standard, and didn’t depart until around 5 PM, working the entire time. He was forthcoming about flaws that he wouldn’t be able to remove, but I wasn’t expecting any miracles; just a thorough job, and the bearded man delivered.

I’m so glad we found Raul! He did an outstanding job for a very reasonable price. We got the Platinum package for our 2008 Highlander Hybrid because we were going to be selling it. Everything was shiny and clean when he finished, with that new car smell. We sold it to the first person who came to look at it, for full asking price. He’s very flexible with scheduling and was willing to post our car for sale on his Facebook page, but we sold it too fast to do that. Thanks, Raul!

Raul was extremely professional and did an AMAZING job on my car, inside and out! Prius’ are notorious for having easily stainable fabric & I practically lived in my car for years so my car had a pretty messy interior. I took it to an auto detailing shop in California and the guy couldn’t remove any of the stains, so I was doubtful when I asked The Bearded Man to attempt it. Well, he not only removed EVERY stain, it was also about half the price! And I didn’t have to drive my car anywhere, Raul came to my garage and performed the service while I was away. What a guy! What a company! I would recommend giving this guy a call immediately. He’s the best and the most convenient and the most fair priced. Thanks Raul!

We had an appointment a few weeks ago but his truck broke down. He called and we rescheduled for today. He called saying he would be late but came a few minutes early. That is fine. I have no issues with these. The front passenger seat has a stain which was not there but maybe it has to dry. I will send Raul a photo of it. Raul informs me that that part of the seat is worn out. I will not argue with that as the SUV is about over 8 years old.
He came to my home however I was expecting him to take at least six hours but he took only 4 hours or so.
I gave 3 stars because the full top of the Lexus RX 350 was not detailed or waxed. It was sprayed. Raul says he could not reach the top. I suggested he buy a $ 15.00 to $ 30.00 2 step stool so he can stand on the stool and then reaching the top will not be an issue. The top is as important as the front, rear, or sides. Further, for $ 240.00 he did not remove some sticky stuff from the windshield till I pointed out to him. He then cleaned that. Also the front passenger window was not pull down and cleaned at the edge of the Window. Raul told me that since I told him I got the windows tinted he got confused. I told him about the tinting so that he does not use ammonia type cleaner. Tinting should not stop him from a proper cleaning by using a damp cloth to do the wipe down so as not to damage the tinting.
For about $ 60.00 an hour which is an extremely lot of money so anyone would expect near perfect work. He should have spent another ½ to an hour to critically review and job and check for imperfections. My SUV was pretty clean overall.
For $ 240.00 consumers should not check the work but the work should be do thorough and complete that when a quick check is even done there should be no incomplete work.
As I suspected he did not open the front bonnet and wipe down the engine area and did not remove the dried leaves that were in the crevice between the windshield area and the front bonnet. It takes only a few more minutes to do that work. Raul told me that the engine is not covered. But opening the Bonnet and removing dried leaves and doing a wipe down with a damp cloth should not be a probkem. Afterall, they do clean the cargo area and the inside of the vehicle as it is part of the vehicle. Is not the engine similarly part of the engine.
Raul you must value customers money that they pay you. Would you treat your vehicle the same way as you treated my vehicle and pay the amount I paid you for the work that was done.
I also saw a 2 stains on the front passenger area that was not there prior to the detailing. I am sending him the photos. Raul states that the leather in the area is worn out. The vehicle is over 8 years old so I will not argue with that explanation. Afterall, the vehicle is a used one.
I do not know if there will be a next time Raul needs to use a critical eye and make sure 100% of the SUV is detailed in every aspect. Because Raul followed up and was concerned with a 3 star review I will give Raul of Bearded Man Detailing another chance and risk another $ 240.00. But Raul that time I will need the work to be near perfection with no issues, excuses or explanations. I too am a small businessman and understand the value of 5 or 4 star reviews. But you must really work for it by going well beyond what your competitors do. I do not haggle with prices when I deal with small solo businesses but will not give any quarter to the value of work I expect nor to the quality of work.
So when you get a second chance to do my Camry you can earn the 5 star reviews by blowing me away with the work you do by making the 18 year vehicle look like near new. Please take this as constructive criticism and learn from it and be better at detailing so you can be more successful.

I have used Raul for all my cars and he is the best around. I have had 3 toyota suvs in pretty ruff shape and he has turned them into gems. He is prompt and professional and best thing is he comes to you. I have used other detailer in the past and the bearded man is by far the best

Apparently Raul aka The Bearded Man and I have different concepts on car detailing and professionalism. I scheduled an appt for my 2012 Nissan Murano but Raul called to say he would be late. That didn’t work so we rescheduled. The 2^nd appt., he called and asked if I was avail. earlier and I wasn’t — then called and told me he would be late. I washed my car that am but told him I didn’t dry it. He was supposed to clean the exterior, clay bar, and apply Carnuba. He applied a polymer stating «nobody uses Carnuba anymore». Sealants are much better” I thought …really. In short, he neglected the roof, the front, the area under the rear window, and the painted rim on the side of the front window and up over the side windows. As ran my finger over each of these untouched areas producing dirt, he sighed appearing annoyed and sighed like it was putting him out to do the job correctly and asked me if I wanted them done! He cleaned and polished the neglected areas but didn’t use the clay bar. I said I’m paying you a lot of money to detail this car and I expect the whole car to be detailed. Detail means detail. Then I asked him if he does the chrome around the exhaust pipe and he said no. He said he did me a favor by doing the wheels! Seriously! That’s part of the detail. The charge was $ 180. but then said if you haven’t written the check it was $ 150. And that didn’t include the interior. You be the judge if this is the type of service (or lack of) you would want done on your car for that amount of money.

WHAT A GREAT JOB! My car hadn’t been detailed in years. My RAV4 was a mess of dog hair, snow dirt of years gone by, split coffee, and who knows what else. The thought of trying to do the job myself put me in hives! I was freaking out until I found Raul. Raul IS awesome! He is so professional, kind, funny and hardworking. He comes prepared to do the job. He’s focused and gets the job done. He spent about 6 hours on my car (told you it was a mess). Since I live in an apartment complex it’s difficult to be able to provide power but Raul has an answer for that too… he’s got a generator! Here’s the thing… when he was done, I walked up to my car and it was so clean but then… I saw… the inside and thought for sure… this could NOT be MY car. It was so beautiful inside it looked AND SMELLED like a NEW car! It was so crazy. If you had told me my car could look like that after spending time with Raul, I would have thought you were nutz! If you want not just a good job but a GREAT JOB… call Raul!

Raul did a fantastic job on the interior detailing of my car especially considering just how filthy it was. My Father drove it for a few months and trashed it… he even smoked in it. It looks and smells soooo much better and I am confident that we will be able to sell it fast! He is super knowlegable and very friendly. I will not hesitate to call The Bearded guy again for all of my auto detailing needs.

Great service! All the dog hair that was stuck in my car is gone and now my car looks like new! Highly recommend!

Raul and The Bearded Man Detailing are awesome. I called to get info on his services, he answered all of my questions on the different processes, he offered his opinion on what would be best for my ’95 Mercedes Benz. We agreed on what should be done and the price.
Fast forward a week and he just spent 6.5 hours on my car, it’s like a brand new car, looks just as good if not better than new. He comes to your house, due to rain today he even puts a large canopy up so he can work on it. He updates you as he goes, and you can certainly see this man is passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work.
I highly recommend Raul to anyone who takes pride in their vehicle and wants a perfect detail!

I purchased the platinum package looking for detailed deep cleaning inside and out. That’s exactly what I received. The paint and wheels haven’t looked this good since I bought the car. Every nook and cranny on the inside was cleaned and polished. There’s only so much you can do with 5 year old seat fabric but they definitely look 100% better than they did. I’d recommend Raul to anyone!

Raul was great! I called him at 6pm with a ridiculous request to see if he can do a mini detail on my car that evening and he DID! He came right over and worked on the car for a little over an hour. I smile every time I enter my car now. I’ll definitely be using his services again!

I can’t say enough about this place and the owner. I got my car new last year and was insistent with my husband that it didn’t need to be detailed because I took care of it. I got a surprise from him when I went to work and came home to my shiny, gorgeous car sitting in the driveway. He didn’t even take it anywhere, Bearded Man came to us! And despite what I thought, my car desperately needed a detailing. It looked (and smelt) incredible.
I think the best part about this company is that unlike places like Red Carpet or Waterway, there is one person working on your car from start to finish. Not a hoard of people wiping your car down all at once. How can you pay attention to the details that need special attention when there are 5 other guys scrambling to get you in and out?
This is quality work. A small company that takes their time on your car to make sure it’s done the right way.

Called Bearded Man to detail my car and I’m SO pumped I found this guy! 1^st off: Raul is awesome; super professional/​knowledgable. 2^nd: he came to ME to detail my Xterra. I was able to work on things around the house while he was working on my car out front. 3^rd: My car looks NEW! It’s nuts. I never want to leave the driveway :) Best price I’ve found in town, awesome-​ridiculously convenient service and my car left looking like THIS! Will definitely call Raul again.

This is the only company I’ve had detail my car, so I can’t really compare it to others, but I would be shocked if someone else could make my car look better than than Bearded Man just did, at least for the price. I don’t know if they put extra work in because I was a new customer or something, but my car literally looks better than it did when I bought it new seven years ago. That sounds unrealistic, but it’s true. Whatever products they used on the exterior are still shining after several weeks, and I didn’t know the wheels could actually look this good. The best part is actually the interior, which I now realize how much I neglected for the last few years. It really just had a very used feel to it, with scuffs and stains and an overall dusty smell and appearance. Now I feel like I’m driving a new car again. Smell is gone. Stains are gone. All interior surfaces look great. My fiancé doesn’t think my car is a piece of crap anymore. Anyway, this sounds like a total advertisement now, but I felt obligated to write a positive review because this seems like a small company that does things right. The owner was super friendly and seemed concerned whether I thought my car came out OK. I had to just laugh at that, because it totally blew away what I expected. I’d say give this guy a try before going to some big auto service place that sells a hundred different things. You get an actual specialist here for the same price or even less.
