If you want to spend family time during the weekend DONOT spend it at this location. We had 3 families and they sat us at 3 different tables all over the restaurant. Never going back to this spot again!!!

The food wasn’t tasty and they like 3 hours to seat us and 1 hour to bring our food They wanted us to squish together in one table.

Called ahead but when we got there we were told there was 25 min wait, fine, so we waited, waited & waited. No updates from 4 – 5 staff just hanging out by the counter, having themselves a good old time. An hour goes by & when we went up to interrupt the staff gossiping w each other, we were told that there was still 6 tables ahead of us. Are u kidding me?! So they flat out lied to their customers to keep them there & get their grubby hands on the money? Unbelievable! What’s the point of call ahead anyway? Nightmare… I’m so disgusted by the wasted time here. Shame on this business! Never again!

We checked out this new location last night. The music isn’t so loud as to prevent conversation. We really liked that. We both ordered 10oz ribeyes, medium rare. Mine was perfect. My husband’s was thin and gray. Pretty awful. We sent it back for a redo, the manager, Becca, came to talk to us, and she delivered the new steak and fresh sides herself. Our waiter, Cass, was nice. He was training a young man, and they gave us the perfect amount of attention. Food turned out fine, the atmosphere was good, and service was excellent. I’m just bummed that we forgot to pick up our leftovers when we left. Those rolls! We’ll happily return!

I had never been to Texas Roadhouse, so my boyfriend insisted I try it and hyped it up pretty huge. The line was waaaaay out the door, which is something I didn’t expect, but spoke highly for our restaurant choice. I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, it was really upbeat and fun and put you in a good mood. We(of course) went to the bar, where I was lucky to find a seat, to drink away the duration of our wait time. The bar staff was super friendly and got us drinks quickly. While we were waiting they even offered us a basket of those famous rolls I had heard so much about, and which I now know really are THAT good. We were waiting for a good chunk of time, which a server seemed to notice as she arrived with another chair for the boyfriend, asking if we would just like to eat at the bar. Yeah, that works, and I am so appreciative she noticed us and took the initiative to do that. From there on we ate WAY too much delicious food(chicken fried steak for me, chicken fritters for Papi), and left full, buzzed, and happy. Definitely a good stop for a low-key, silly, kitschy dinner!

I absolutely love Texas Roadhouse. Compared to other mainstream franchises like Applebees, Chilis, or Black Eyed Pea, this is my favorite. Despite it being a chain restaurant, the menu, music, and interior seem unique enough for me to not automatically cast it aside as another lame chain. My previous Texas Roadhouse experiences have been at the Thornton/Northglenn location. This new spot in Northfield has been exceptional though because of its server staff. This time we had Danny, who was an extreme delight. He came in with a solid smile and just the right amount of attentiveness. My family is always ready to order very quickly. Many times we catch the server off-guard. Danny, however, was capable of taking our drink and lunch orders back-to-back in under five minutes. Danny’s exceptional customer service came at the end when it was time to pack leftovers. We had only asked for one box, yet he brought an extra box anticipating that we may need it. Sure enough, we used the extra box for the bread. And it gets better! Danny even offered to get my family a basket full of fresh bread! So now we had eight extra rolls to take home! Working in food service previously myself, I recognize hard work, genuine involvement, and a good attitude. Danny definitely deserves to be recognized. He made this lunch with my family a happy one. P. S. I almost forgot to mention that Danny totally went out of his way to bring small container cups for the vegetable and mashed potato sides! Definitely plus points here.

Amazing. Went with a group of friends tonight. People just keep coming in by the droves. Reasonable wait, great hurricane margarita. Our server Corey was amazing; remembered everything perfectly. All of our steaks were perfectly cooked. Service great. I’ll be back.

My partner and I have been going to your new Texas Roadhouse at 8470 E Northfield Blvd, Denver, CO80238, every week since you opened! We always had a great meal, great service and yes, sometimes had to wait to get in. Tonight,(Friday, Sept. 11) we decided again to go eat there and we arrived at 6:27 pm. We were in line to put our name in and the two young girls at the check in desk were very rude and short with most of the people. The young said it would be 10 to 15 minutes or so; I said ok, that’s fine! The couple ahead of us were told the same as well as the next two couples to follow. I told them we should have called in but 10 to 15 isn’t bad. They all agreed and we then waited for our pagers to go off. After the other three couples had been seated along with two more groups of three; I told my partner that maybe I should check to see how much longer it would be? I walked up to the second young girl and was getting ready to ask her but she immediately said I would have to speak with the manager. The female manager launched into to some speech about calling in ahead and proceeded to tell me about the program and tried to give me a card! I said, I noticed that other people had been seated and that there were tables open and we are still waiting, almost 30 minutes now. She told me in a rude manner that they had all called ahead. I told her that I spoke to them and they told me they hadn’t! She said that they would never seat anyone out of order!!! I told her that we have always had a great experience at this restaurant until tonight and that we were going to leave! She didn’t care! I’ve never seen this manager at this location before and I can assure you there are some major issues with her seating policies! My other question was; why are there so many booths open; and why are the groups of three people walking in and being seated within 5 minutes? I wasn’t aware that we could only sit at a two seater or the bar??? Never have I had such a rude experience! We went to Jim and Nicks BBQ restaurant around the corner, had to wait 5 minutes and the service and food were exceptional! I will continue to share our experience because I feel that your restaurant manager either doesn’t know what great customer service is or doesn’t care!

I am a big fan of the Texas Roadhouse — however this one is not a good location. The steaks were overcooked and the service was ultra slow.

NOT gluten free. Really wanting to try this place out i went this afternoon. Asked for a gluten free menu and i was told they didn’t have one. I was told if you don’t order certain item then its«kind of gluten free». I felt that was a very ignorant thing to say. Either it is or it isn’t. So i left.

Came in last Thursday for dinner. First time at this location and many many years since we have eaten at this chain. The food was meh to average. Salmon was over cooked, salad was drenched in dressing, medium rare burgers were cooked well done. We had traveled all day and were tired so we did not bother to send anything back or complain. The staff were all friendly but were trying way to hard to be funny that it just came across as awkward. And this was all the staff we encountered so maybe it’s expected by management but they are still getting comfortable with the delivery. Based on the food though we will not be back.

I love Texas Roadhouse! They’ve only been open for a month or so and I’ve been to this location 8 times already. I’ve eaten every steak on the menu and they truly taste great. The only thing I find weird is how every once and a while they turn up the music and everyone starts dancing, it’s weird and I don’t like it. I moved to Denver about a year ago from Austin TX and I frequented this establishment very much and I never once witnessed the line dancing. This must be what management thinks we do in Texas and it’s rubbish. Overall a great place!

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had at a chain. During a rush I was able to sit at the bar immediately and was assisted promptly by Alex and Danielle. These two are invaluable to this establishment. They work seamlessly together and make sure that everyone feels welcome. I’m so glad that this restaurant is now open by me. I’ll be back for sure.

This was a fun experience and the staff was great, but the food was just ok. The steaks were a little overcooked(I got the 6oz sirloin) for medium rare, with the mushroom topping. The mushrooms weren’t cooked really well, they seemed like an afterthought. You get two sides with your steak and I opted for the mashed potatoes w/cream gravy and buttered corn. I’ve never met a mashed potato I didn’t like, so these went down pretty easy. It’s on par with an Applebee’s or a Chili’s as far as the steak goes, but all 3 of these restaurants have a place. It was fun and definitely a decent meal, but not the best steak I’ve ever had by any means.

Placed a to go order which should only take about 20 minutes, 30 minutes tops. After I place the order and pay he tells me 50 minutes… for a to go order? That’s why TEXAS Roadhouse should remain in TX only, apparently we know how to get the food out in an acceptable time. The manager needs to manage the kitchen a little better.

Excellent ribeye. JUICY, TASTEDGREAT. COOKED perfectly. Bartender was very attentive. The overall service concept is interesting, they write your name on a place card, so they remember. More impressive when wait staff accomplishes this without the place cards. But the effort pays dividends. It seems like they have two servers per table. When I walked in, they had a line dance going on, different. What is totally impressive, they opened on 27 April, no advertising, just sign in window. I am here on 30 Apr, at 1700hrs and the place is packed. I will be back. A good steak is like a good woman…
