Tacos El Pueblita

What do you get when you pave your front yard, put a tiny un-​roadworthy trailer in the spot and add a small man who speaks no English? Tacos el Pueblita, fantastico!
This tiny food truck started with a guy in my neighborhood selling bomb ass tacos that he cooked on his front porch. It was delicious, it was cheap, it was convenient! Alas it was not to last, for some horrible tyrannical neighbor called the city since apparently it isn’t legal to serve tacos with absolutely no permits from a front porch in a residential area. Who knew? Fast forward two months and my new best friend got a license as a street vendor, paved his front yard and put a bright orange trailer there, and boom he’s legal.
This little taco truck is a true gem. The pork tacos are made with pineapple and fresh onions and cilantro. The beef is good as well but the pork is their specialty. They make their own salsas which are delicious too. The tacos are only $ 1. Also taxes are already included in the price and it’s take out only so you only need a small tip. Try these guys out, you won’t be disappointed, and on Thursdays when you buy 10 tacos you get 5 free!
*** There are no hours of operation. If they’re out there cooking they’re open, if not, they’re not open. However, they are usually there Thursday through Sunday, about 6pmish to midnightish.
