History

Established in 2010.

T5 Photography was created in January of 2010 by Tommy Cowan. Many people ask «Why T5?» Tommy is the fifth generation of Thomas Cowan and his grandfather (T3) always called him «T5 — Tommy.» To add to the legacy and tradition of the name, Tommy made it his business name.

Having both parents as photographers, a knack for photography came naturally to him. His first published photograph was in 2007 when he shot sports action for the Journal Advocate in Sterling, CO. Soon afterward he transferred to Red Rocks to study Photography. Tommy graduated from Red Rocks in 2009 with his Digital Photography Degree. Since graduating, Tommy founded T5 Photography and immediately began his business by shooting numerous weddings, senior and family portraits. His outgoing personality and people-​person customer service has built a foundation for T5 Photography which helps to create a comfortable environment. Tommy Cowan, Owner & Photographer:

In 2006, Tommy found the woman of his dreams, Alysen, who helped him reach his goal to start T5 Photography. Tommy proposed on Alysen’s birthday, 11−11−11, and the two plan to marry in 2013.
