The Strides Ballroom Method of learning to dance was created by professional ballroom dancer and instructor Jennifer Corey. With over 30 years of dance experience and 18 years of teaching experience, Jennifer has developed a unique way of teaching anyone to dance that really works.

She has taught hundreds of students from young to the young at heart (ages 9 – 91). She has worked with those that think they have two left feet, and those that seem to have been born to dance. People who have studied music, and those that struggle finding the beat. All that she has learned in helping hundreds of people to learn to dance has been compiled into one great teaching method, Strides.

Strides Ballroom is Jennifer’s dance company that provides quality ballroom and latin dance instruction in the Denver Metro Area. Her and her professional dance partner Taylor Westfall teach at 3 studio locations in Denver and Lakewood Monday — Saturday. Call us today and start dancing.

I have loved dance from a very early age. I was first introduced to dancing by Miller’s Dance Studio in Aurora, CO when I was 4 years old. My first introduction to partner style dancing was by my mom, who had my brother and I dancing polka around the living room most evenings when I was a kid.

I have had the privilege of training with some really amazing dancers and teachers through the years, including U.S. & World Champions. I have received Highly Commended Marks on my teaching certifications from the USISTD & ISTD.

As a professional competitor I have been a U.S. Professional 9 Dance Finalist, North American Rising Star Smooth Finalist, 2x Colorado Star Ball Rising Star Champion, Seattle Star Rhythm Champion, Golden State Rising Star Rhythm Champion, International Grand Ball Rising Star Rhythm Champion.

For 18 years I have taught hundreds of people to dance, and still I feel it is the coolest job.
