History

Established in 2013.

The Strides Ballroom Method of learning to dance was created by professional ballroom dancer and instructor Jennifer Corey. With over 30 years of dance experience and 18 years of teaching experience, Jennifer has developed a unique way of teaching anyone to dance that really works.

She has taught hundreds of students from young to the young at heart (ages 9 – 91). She has worked with those that think they have two left feet, and those that seem to have been born to dance. People who have studied music, and those that struggle finding the beat. All that she has learned in helping hundreds of people to learn to dance has been compiled into one great teaching method, Strides.

Strides Ballroom is Jennifer’s dance company that provides quality ballroom and latin dance instruction in the Denver Metro Area. Her and her professional dance partner Taylor Westfall teach at 3 studio locations in Denver and Lakewood Monday — Saturday. Call us today and start dancing.

Business Owner

Jennifer Corey has been teaching ballroom dancing in the Denver Metro Area for over 18 years.

A former professional competitor, Jennifer has been a finalist in the United States Professional 9 Dance (Top 6 in the United States), a finalist in the Rising Star Smooth at the North American Dance Championships, and winner of competitions in Colorado, Washington, Washington D.C. and California. Finalist in over 20 U.S. competitions. Though Jennifer has retired from professional competition she still competes with her students as well as trains students for amateur competitions.

Jennifer also enjoys social dancing as a personal hobby, as well as teaches social dancing and couples preparing for their wedding. She is proud of her personal achievements on the dance floor, but is much more excited about how she can help her students find their own stride on any dance floor.
