Steven’s Fencing and Repairs, LLC

Good news: this was the only fencing company to actually call me back. Made an appointment and everything. And then failed to show up. Has failed to call and explain why he didn’t show up. He is currently over two weeks late…

DO NOT RECOMMEND! TOTALLY UNRELIABLE! Steven was supposed to arrive at my home to inspect my gate at 2:30 PM. At 4:30 PM I received a all that he was running late. He finally arrived around 5:00 PM and inspected my gate which needed repair. He gave me an estimate to fix and said he would return the next day to fix. Never returned, never called. I called him twice to find out if was planning to ever come back and he never bothered to respond to my voice mails. I see that this is a recurring issue, as most people commented on this exact same issue. DON’T EVEN BOTHER — CALL A REPUTABLE COMPANY!

Extremely poor service. Couldn’t meet any deadline he promised he would meet. Clean-​up after the job virtually didn’t happen and there were tons of safety hazards i.e. nails, trash and sharp metal everywhere. On top of it all he was never prepared when he showed up and would vanish off the face of the earth for weeks at a time not answering his phone. We paid him thousands of dollars and the yards are already falling apart.

We contracted with Steve to repair our fence and put on a new gate. Our neighbors on either side of us had repairs done as well at the same time. Did not show up at assigned time, could not reach him for hours. Finally someone from his crew showed up to begin work, but even his crew did not know where he was. When we finally reached him, he gave a very lame excuse, and was actually angry about being questioned. Work was not done to our satisfaction. He again would not return calls, would not answer our calls until I called from a different phone he would not recognize. I said the gate was not repaired properly and he would not come back out to fix it. We paid him in full but our neighbor did not. Was very rude to me with each visit or phone call, but whenever on the rare occasion that my spouse was able to reach him, he was civil. The work looks like we never had anything done. Very embarassing since we initiated the work and talked our neighbors into going in on the expense. They are both very unhappy as well.

This guy is worthless. I called him on a Tuesday and left a message. Ok… I know these guys are busy but at least call back and say — yes — no — maybe. Nothing… so I call him on Friday and leave a message… no call until Saturday morning at 10:30. He said he could «fit me in» in-​between 1:00 and 2:00 that same Saturday for an estimate… fine…so I change my Saturday afternoon BBQ plans and go home to meet him. 2:00 comes and goes… as does 3:00 and 4:00 and 5:00…nothing. No call back, no text… no nothing but a NO-​SHOW! And I missed a great BBQ with my friends…

Steven was amazing. After calling several other fence companies, with little to no response, i called Steven. he was over to my house in less than an hour, and repaired all of my fence issues quickly, perfectly, affordably, and didn’t try to gouge or take advantage of my lack of knowledge in this area. I will definitely be using him again when i want to do some additional fencing and power cleaning. he was awesome!

I made an appointment with Steven for him to come look at my fence and give me an estimate. Steven said he would call 30 minutes before he planned on arriving. I waited all day for the call, he never showed. I called Steven 3 times after and left a message each time and he did not return my calls. I noticed this is a recurring issue with Steven. I highly recommend finding someone else for your repair work. I will also be submitting a complaint with the Denver BBB. POOR customer Service, actually NO customer service
