Established in 2015.

Since 2003, our founder has worked full time as a professional mediator and was a former owner of Divorce Resolutions prior to starting Split Simple. While many people may call themselves a «mediator» and describe their «years of experience», it is the sheer volume of cases and great variety of clients that distinguishes us work from other mediators. While most mediators will boast of eight to ten mediations per month, our mediators conduct eight to ten mediations per week.

Following his graduation from law school Chris exclusively practiced family law and obtained collaborative family law training. However, time spent in the family law litigation world soon led Chris to the conclusion that for the vast majority of family law cases, a courtroom is an inappropriate place for spouses and parents to resolve differences about their family, finances and future direction. As a result, Chris turned his full time attention to a family law mediation practice.
