Total disappointment. First when you walk in it is not at all inviting nor welcoming. My most recent, and last, experience was just unbelievable. I called to make an appointment. I asked women making appointment to make sure the nail tech was indeed available because the last time I had appointment I got there and was told they were sorry but she already had an appointment and offered someone else. I took alternate but it was annoying. This time I arrived early, signed in, confirmed appointment, chose color and five minutes later I was told sorry, she already had appointment. On the sign in list there were no names with appointments so I assume that if your tech gets a walk in they dump your appointment. Waste of time.

This is my go-​to for shellac manis and pedicures in the Denver area. The customer service can be hit-​or-​miss but my shellac rarely fails to last less than two weeks. I might add that I am hard on my hands, so that goes a long way in the Land of Mandy. Pedis are enjoyable with the massage chairs and I rarely have to wait longer than five minutes for services to commence (without an appointment).
I also feel it’s worth mentioning that both the shellac mani and the pedicure are the most economical (and longest lasting) I’ve had in the Denver area.
Parking can be a little hairy depending on the day and time of day as the lot is shared with Cosmos pizza, Yogurtland, a dry cleaner, and a Boston Market. However, you can also park on Grant. I’ve only had problems finding parking on a couple of occasions and I’ve been a customer for over a year.

Just moved here from VA beach, VA and wanted a place to get my nails done. Snappy nails ended up being closest to me. The service was horrible. The nail technician made me pay before she colored nails and put the jewels on. Now I’m stuck with poorly placed jewels on my finger, bubbly and smudged nail polish and when I tried to tell the nail tech this isn’t what I wanted, she told me it looked good, and I was fine. Never coming back again.

Used to like this place until I got a terrible toenail fungus that caused my two big toenails to break off halfway down… clean your shit!!! Will never skimp and go to a cheap place again, not worth it at all.

I’ve been here several times and things here are inconsistent, to say the least. On a prior visit, I got a polish change on my nails and toes and received decent service, otherwise I’d give only 1 star. However, I went about a week ago for a mani/​pedi and it was pretty terrible. There were about 6 – 7 other people already in process in pedicure chairs when I walked in. The guy started my pedicure and basically soaked my feet, dried them, and painted the nails. He barely trimmed anything, did no scrubbing/​pumice and little to know massage. I’m not going for a massage, so that’s no big deal, but the polish was smeared on the sides of my toes and he just left it as a sloppy job. As far as a «manicure» goes, I couldn’t even call it that. He did my «mani» in the pedi chair. Just reaching around and pulling my arm to the side to paint my nails?!! Soaked them, put lotion on my hands and painted them. Took my money then left, but didn’t give me shoes or put a topcoat on my hands. So I sat there in the pedi chair wondering if he’d come back. After awhile, he came back and put on a top coat, laughing saying he forgot. The topcoat was just down the middle of my nails. Mani/​pedi was done before most of the other people even got out of the pedi chairs as they were getting an ACTUAL pedicure. Waste of money and I would tell everyone to go elsewhere. I had to go home and clean the edges of my nails on hands and feet because it looked like my 10 year old niece painted my nails. I only wish I would’ve taken pictures first.

I’m not the kind of person who enjoys extended leg, feet, and hand massages, so the rushed service was OK by me. I like to make the experience as quick as possible — just do my nails correctly, which they did. (Hence, the 2 stars.) If you like a more prolonged and enjoyable massage and experience, this is not the place for you.
As far as friendliness goes? Um… nope! Neither technician smiled at me, asked me how I was doing, asked me to go to hell… nothing. But again, that’s fine. I’m not one to engage in small talk with people I don’t know. But man! They can sure talk and laugh loudly with each other in their native language while they do their job! I found this irritating and rude. I understand if they need to converse about things having to do with business, but these were like cocktail party conversations.
My ending concern is that they have little signs all over that ask you to tip them in cash, and they also ask you in person. Not bloody likely! I don’t know if it’s a tax-​evasion tactic or what, but the tip I gave went directly on my credit card. Although my nails look fine, I probably won’t be back.

I have been coming here for years and the past two times have been a disappointment. The biggest disappoints are that the chairs are old and are no longer working well. I will being going to a different place that has chairs that are functioning.

Horrible place with a snobby manager who only talks about her customer on their backs! I have had an horrible experience there! There are a lot of great places in Denver where they value their clients!

Yikes. Do not go here. Got a shellac manicure — they used the nail drill to take off part of the shellac and then soaked all my fingers (entire finger) in acetone. So bottom line — OUCH! I think they took off ½ my nail from the drill and ½ my skin from the acetone. And the tec only massaged my hands (for about a second) and not my arms. I won’t be back. There’s another place across the street that I didn’t think was great either, but better than this!

I guess I would got back. They did an ok job and it was extremely cheap. But it seemed like we were bothering them by being there.
They clearly wanted to go home. I guess I’d say go here if you need a quick polish change?

A good nail place is hard to find. When I first moved to the neighborhood ow as on the fence about snappy. My pedicures were inconsistant. Some of the techs rushed through or skipped steps. I also got acrylics
and they would add on special things like a gel finish that cost extra without asking me.
Aside from that… I began coming here because it was convenient and since I have been very pleased. I would recommend Lim and «T» or Tina for a pedicure. They give an amazing message and the spa pedicure is an amazing deal! You pay $ 35 for the usuy pedi with added sugar scrub, parafin wax leg massage foot massage and then ending in a leg/​foot hot stone massage. They also have a $ 35 regular mani/​pedi package. They are also very clean!!!
They take their time and do a good job. :) I am now a spoiled regular. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am surprised at how many negative reviews there are for Snappy Nails, as I’ve never had a poor experience.
A fellow colleague recommended Snappy Nails to me when I was in dire need of a gel manicure. We went together one day after work, and I was happily surprised to find no wait required. They ask you to sign in and request what service (s) you desire when you arrive, and then you are promptly seated at a station.
Are the technicians the friendliest techs I’ve ever had? Far from it. But, having gone here for about a year, I always found them to be polite, pleasant, and working to please you, the customer. Many times, I would request a fun design or idea I had seen on Pinterest (#whitegirl) and they always accommodated my requests – and they turned out great! Plan on spending 35ish for a gel mani and 30 (I think) for a pedi. The pedicures, as at most nail salons, are enhanced with massage chairs, and I always found the techs to spend extra time during massage. My favorite!
So why only three stars? Well, despite never having to wait, I do find the ambiance a bit lacking. Does it have to be perfect? No, and I realize you can pay for more at another location. But, it could definitely be enhanced. Furthermore, the length of time that my manicure (and pedicure, at times) lasted was always dependent on which tech did the service. Some are meticulous and definitely make the gel polish last as long as possible. Other times, it would chip or come up around the edges far too soon. And ultimately, I’ve started spending my money at another nail salon where the service is consistent no matter who does it.

I’ve always had a great experience here. They are efficient, do a great job and friendly!

I’ve been coming here for years out of the convenient «walk ins welcome» bit. The prices are reasonable for what you get, but I have to say this might be the last time I patron this place! The gal who did my Deluxe Pedicure was a disaster! What’s the point of having a soaking tub when both feet are outside of the water the entire time? After getting my calluses scraped she put the scrapings into the tub to swim around with my feet (when they were actually in the water). She got salt scrub so far up my leg it got on my nice work pants and all over the chair — then made it seem an inconvenience to clean it up. She finally wiped up the scrub and water from the chair, proceeded to clean the under part of the chair before drying my legs with the same rag. Seriously? Are you that hard up you don’t have enough clean towels? I’m so incredibly disgusted, as I sit here and let her finish, that by the time I’m done writing this scathing review I’ve made up my mind to never come back. Word of advise? The ONLY one worth seeing is Nicky and making reservations at this hole isn’t worth the effort. Also, there is something to be said about sitting in a nail salon where they barely speak English — who wants to pay $ 80 for someone to clearly talk bad about you and the other patrons while your getting your nails done? Ok… I changed my mind…$ 80 is not a justifiable price for this type of treatment… go elsewhere before you wind up with a nasty fungus… and I sincerely hope I walk out of here without a fungus myself!

DO NOT GO HERE. The employee who assisted me was rude and did a horrible job. My nails came out noticeably crooked. In addition to that I have three cuts on my fingers from the employee cutting my fingers. I was in pain the whole time start to finish and after my fingers throbbed in pain. It wasn’t even worth any pay. Do not ever come here. You will not be satisfied. In addition to that, he didn’t cut my cuticles or clean under my nails like most places would and my previous nail polish wasn’t even removes all the way. The work was sloppy and in no way respectable.

This used to be my go-​to nail place when I lived in Capitol Hill, nowadays I usually go to a salon Downtown but was in the area so thought I’d stop in. It’s has Gone WAY downhill and it was just a horrible experience. Getting your nails done should be pampering, well first they had me soak my nails in a giant plastic bowl filled with cold water and then the technician used really cheap tools to push back my cuticles that had me wincing it was so uncomfortable. Watered down moisturizer for the ‘hand massage’ and having me dry my nails at the tiny fan on the counter rather than the dryer just left me blah. Also for $ 15 Nail Sky in Writer Square uses hot towels, luxury products and you get a shoulder massage while drying (at a dryer!!). Also they were playing Christmas music… on February 21^st, shows how much attention they pay to anything :).

I’ve been getting my eyebrows waxed for 10 years so I’m pretty familiar with it. The woman who did mine here ripped the skin off to the point that they’re almost bleeding. I didn’t notice at first because my eyebrows are always a bit numb after a wax. When I got in my car and the stinging/​burning really hit I went back inside to complain. They told me it was normal, refused to get a manager then shoo’d me at the door. I’m not sure about nails, but I certainly wouldn’t trust them with waxing. The treatment I was received was appalling at every level.
Update: they gave me a refund after I went back in to demand one.

Unsanitary. I know of two people who’ve gotten infections here. And as I was sitting in the chair getting a pedicure I witnessed another patron come in to speak with the manager about an infection they received.

Ok pedi except my polish chipped in under a week… On my toes. yes that was a first.
Probably won’t return. Paris nails across the street is quite a bit better.
