Smooth European Laser Hair Removal Clinic was formed by two industry professionals from Europe; with over 20 years combined experience.

After owning and operating a large group of beauty salons in Europe, with a strong focus on Laser Hair Removal, they have now launched their newest venture in Denver, Colorado. I was referred to Smooth from my plastic surgeon (Dr. Murphy) and as I’ve tried laser hair removal treatments in the past, I was skeptical as they haven’t worked very well. The price is standard in the industry, maybe slightly higher, but the point here is that these treatment actually work versus the chain hair removal salons.
I was completely wrong about not seeing results! I am about half way through with my treatments on my face/​neck, under arms, abdomen and Brazilian and I am extremely pleased with the results. Being I have found it difficult to get good results with olive skin and dark hair I am amazed. Not only are the lasers used top of the line, but my tech Dasie is extremely knowledgeable and even at times when it is a little painful (remember, I’m getting a Brazilian!), she keeps me amused and gets through my treatment quickly. Dasie has been great in recommending products that she has tried herself that are helping with other skin problems – her recommendations are always spot on.
I was unfortunate to try a supplement that resulted in adult acne and scarring – terrible to deal with again at 30! About two months ago I started seeing Jeri for a custom blend (created by Dasie) of 2 types of chemical peels + microdermabrasion and my skin hasn’t looked this good… ever! Routinely people guess me to be about 7 years younger than I am.
I cannot say thank you enough to Dasie, Jeri and front office staff! I love this place and will remain a loyal customer!

This place is awesome! I bought the Living Social deal to give laser another try (I have done it in the past, 6 years ago most recent– 12 or so years ago for the first time). I never finished my previous treatments– mostly financial reasons.
I met with Jeri. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and just overall comforting. I went in expecting to get more than the Living Social deal offered, but obviously she didn’t know that. If it were up to me, I would have my whole body done! We went over the areas that were most important to me, and I ended up getting several areas (will be coming back for full legs!). At no point did I feel pressured to get more– she just gave me all of the options available. The pricing is reasonable compared to other salons I’ve been to, and researched.
I got my appointment the next day– **they have evening and weekend hours!**- and decided to not do one of the areas I originally said I would do. It was no big deal to remove that area, she just adjusted my pricing.
The lasers were so much better than the ones I have had in the past! Virtually pain free! I am so excited to continue with these treatments. Can’t thank Jeri enough for the care and service.

Before purchasing the Living Social deal a little over a month ago, I did tons of research on laser hair removal and read every review I could find, online. After purchasing, I went in for my initial consultation and met with Jeri. Jeri is the best!!! She was comforting and knowledgeable, and all around great to be around! She explained hair removal to me, she described their lasers and compared it with other lasers of the like. We discussed my skin type (very fair, with dark hair), and she did a spot test on my legs, bikini, and underarms.
She was happy to honor the Living Social deal. I ended up deciding to get additional areas done, but I didn’t feel an ounce of pressure to do so. She explained to me that it’s easiest to get it all done at once, in the coming 18 months, to avoid having to be making monthly visits for the next 10 years! As I would absolutely prefer to get this all done as soon as possible, I felt that she was bringing it to my attention, rather than conning me in to extra purchases.
I have had one appointment this far, with my underarms, and Brazilian, and it was nearly painless. Jeri practically makes you forget that you are laying exposed! I have now decided to add my lower legs in to the mix.
Every time I call in, the desk girls are great to speak with! Their hours make it so convenient and easy (nights and weekend availability for people like me who work full time). They have gone above and beyond to work with me financially. The office is adorable and very well kept. Parking isn’t bad at the time I go, and it is located in a nice area.
So far I have loved my experience. I will absolutely update this post in 18 months to share my results. I can’t wait!!!

I have been going to Smooth for about a year now and have seen great results. I started with a Groupon and then agreed to a couple of upgrades which I am happy I went with. The techs did tell me that the blond hairs may still linger but the darker stuff is almost gone. A few swipes with the razor and I am done with the blond ones. The techs are nice and yes they talk to me about specials each time. But I choose at check-​in to hear about them. When I get the money saved I am going for the legs next.

The owner has responded to my review by offering me a fair refund of the services I was unable to utilize. The business was quite new when I was there, and I think there have been some kinks worked out since then. If there is an issue with anything, I believe that she will make it right, given the opportunity.
I really do love the technology. It is not painful, and whiles it take consistency in treatment, I love the results. Yes, it will take more than three treatments, and if you go in on a groupon or living social deal, understand that the purpose is to generate business. So take advantage of the deals they offer you. I would really recommend the 18 month packages, as that’s the only way to be sure.
I would definitely recommend making a visit to Smooth.

I signed up with a living social deal and was upsold, as many others were. I was promised at the time that if I did not see results, they would continue treating the area (s) as part of this deal. Needless to say, after my 18 months of treatment, I have not seen satisfactory results. Now their claim is that hair growth on the face is hormonal and they do not promise ‘removal,’ rather ‘reduction.’ I was offered to buy an additional package of «Hair Reduction.» If they are claiming my hair growth is hormonal, why would I pay more money for no results Again?!? It is also very frustrating that Smooth has a high turnover rate of technicians. They cannot seem to keep the good ones for very long, and each tech treats areas differently, which I think contributed to my unfavorable results.

I went into the office in Spring 2014 for a consultation off of a grupon that I found. Prior to going into the office I did not purchase the grupon, because I wanted to see if I was a good candidate for laser hair removal first. They said I was and I wanted to go forward starting the following week, 4 days away when I got paid. They told me that if I didn’t buy the grupon that day they would not honor the grupon price. They also said that they didn’t want me to buy the grupon at all because grupon takes some of the money and they would get more $$ if they just honored the grupon price in the store, but only if I signed a loan contract immediately for $ 1,500. They then proceeded to apply more sales pressure by telling me it would be more than $ 4,000 to have my bikini and underarms treated if I did not sign today for the $ 1,500 grupon price. They clearly did not want to honor the grupon pricing at all.
Their equipment appears top of the line & I think they would do a good job. They are just way too pushy. It makes me wonder if they get commissions. I would not recommend Smooth to anyone.

I purchased the Living Social deal of $ 199 for «3 small areas.» I called for prices over the phone to see what the additional cost would be for a Brazilian since the fine print stated that it would be extra cost. They did not provide the information over the phone and stated that this would be provided during my consultation. During the consultation I received the «regular» prices and the discounted (with living social) for all areas — legs, Brazilian, extended bikini, etc. The discounted price for Brazilian would cost an extra $ 1,200 on top of my voucher. Once I reviewed my living social voucher, I found that the voucher has a promotional value of $ 2,801. The extended bikini was quoted at $ 2,800 for anyone walking in off the street who does not have a voucher. I called before starting any treatments asking to use the promotional value of the voucher rather than using my small 3 areas (underarms and naval which were quoted at over $ 3,000) since the value covers the original cost of the extended bikini. They stated that this «is not how the voucher works.» From a business perspective (if the quotes are true) it would save them money for me to get the extended bikini rather than the 3 small areas. I cancelled my treatments and I am asking for a refund from Living Social.

I also started out with the living social deal and was upsold, no big deal thats what I expected. They do have good prices and give you deals.
My big issue is that basically the lasers did not work for me. I was previously going to a different laser hair removal place that shut down and I saw 80−90% hair reduction in three treatments. At Smooth I have been going there for over a year with 8+ treatments on extended bikini, arm pits and legs with ZERO reduction in hair growth. I have complained multiple times about this and they have adjusted the machines (I have dark brown hair so should be ideal for lasers) and still nothing. Its very disappointing to me bc when I have raised concerns the first thing they say is they do not give refunds, no matter what. I have spent over $ 2000 there for no reduction in hair which is their business. I feel that if I can show I have had no reduction (its obvious) that I should not still have to pay for a service that did not work.
On a good note, its a very clean place and I have loved every technician. They do seem to have a high turnover rate but at least they always hire nice people.

I found smooth through Groupon and initially was only going to do my underarms. After my initial consultation I decided to do underarms, Brazilian and abdomen. Since I decided to do more areas the price was more but all in all I think I still got a really good deal. My technician for the consultation was Daisy and she was very nice and made me feel comfortable during the appt. The technician for my first treatment was Christine and she was also very nice and made sure that I was comfortable. Overall I am happy that I decided to go with this company and am hoping after the 18 months that I will have great results!

I started coming here last fall because of the Living Social deal. Once there I ended up doing a full brazilian & half legs as well. I have coarse, dark hair & went from having to shave my underarms & legs at least every other day to easily getting away with a week between. And I’ve still got many treatments left. The results have been absolutely incredible.
Everyone I have interacted with at Smooth has been incredibly friendly and helpful. They have great customer service & the lasers are essentially painless. Yes, laser hair removal is expensive, but compared to the seven years of monthly brazilian waxes I was getting… it’s actually quite a deal! Not to mention much less painful & lasting results.
I highly recommend anyone looking into laser hair removal give smooth a try!

I’ve been going to Smooth European Laser for several months now, It started with a Living Social Deal, and I was happy to upgrade. I’d been to other Laser Hair Removal clinics previously and was familiar with the costs involved, so I knew I was still getting a good deal. I’ve been very happy with the personnel, and equipment, I apparently was fortunate that when I purchased my living social deal, my Brazilian, really was and is a Brazilian. Regarding the negative feedback due to the company trying to upgrade on the living social deals, unless they were using hard sales tactics, which I didn’t experience, I don’t understand this frustration, don’t we all understand that Living Social is marketing, to get customers in the door, in hopes that they choose to stick around and pay for more services?
I would have no hesitation recommending them to any of my friends.

I had the same living social experience as others have described. My technician, Elena, is awesome. She is so sweet and thorough. She is not who I’m referring to in any negative natured commentary. She is simply doing what she is told. But the manager girl who was on board when They first opened was pretty hard core and ran a hard bargain with the price negotiations. I felt like i was buying a house as the manager made sweet Elena go back and forth, like a Realtor, trying to negotiate the perameters and pricing. They were just opening and brand new, granted, but perhaps I wasn’t well versed in how pricey this can be these days (I did this five years ago but it was less expensive then for sure). Now it’s like buying a small car.
The lasers don’t hurt but I’ve done five treatments and I’m dark blonde hair with fair skin and these lasers are not having much impact. I still have almost full growth. About 1⁄3 less hair only growth than before I paid a lot of money to remove all hair from waist down. Not totally worth It so far but they tell me it will start to take effect. They are seemingly stingy with deals as the prices reflect very specific parameters and start to climb. The bait and switch concept that I think many of us experienced from the living social is never a good idea for gaining long term and word of mouth business. That business model may not be sustainable in a word-​of-​mouth community like cherry creek. Thanks to Elena I am happy to keep going and wait for the results!

I have been getting treatments at Smooth for about 4 months now. I came in with the Living Social Deal, and will admit I was annoyed at first about the up sell. That being said, Laser hair removal is expensive anywhere you go and I have friends who have done it other places with older lasers than not only hurt, but cost at least as much as Smooth if not more.
My experience at Smooth has always been pleasant. The technicians I have worked with have all been wonderful to the point that I don’t mind having a different tech each time. They have all been great. I read some of the other reviews and I understand where people are coming from regarding the LS deal and price differences etc. as there was something that felt disingenuous on the part of Smooth for the way they handled the marketing. I feel like they can remedy that with a little effort.
For the 4 areas of unlimited laser that I ended up purchasing, however, I do not feel like I am getting a bad deal. I also did a bit of research on other salons, prices and lasers, and I am happy with my decision.
I have not had any issues with my appointment times, but I tend to go during the weekdays, early in the morning. I like the front desk staff and the office is always clean and welcoming.

I bought a living social deal for Smooth European Laser Hair Removal, similar to deals I’ve bought in the past for other hair removal clinics. I paid $ 150 for three «small» areas. Turns out, the «standard» bikini line includes the area that would be exposed if you were wearing boy briefs. Hair removal for the traditional bikini line would’ve cost me hundreds more. And I couldn’t even use the deal (the three small areas) to get the laser treatment on just the bikini line. The worst part, and what has really caused me to write this review, is that the technician spent the entire length of the initial consultation trying to upsell me and was visibly irritated when I was firm about wanting to stay within the parameters of the living social deal and not spend more money.
Go elsewhere!!!
