We roll sushi from time to time and would pretty much only trust Seafood Landing to provide us with sushi-grade fishes. Everything looks so good and so fresh, it’s hard to resist spending all the dollars here. You’ll pay 3x what you might see in a big-box grocer, and it is worth every penny. They typically have the basics(tuna, salmon, dry scallops, shrimps some white fish, mussels) as well as some interesting variety — think, escolar. There’s a selection of meats for those carnivores in your life. Service is friendly and efficient.

Read about this place in Unilocal so my wife and I made the trip from castle pines. What a wonderful experience. The owner Bruce greeted us warmly and helped us pick out 4 fresh fish selections that had arrived in the last day. He even gave us a new customer discount and a free sample of his home made soup. What great customer service.

Picked up some tuna here for a poke recipe because they were one of the only places in town to find good quality tuna. The price was right and the quality was exceptional, with intelligent butchers who knew exactly how old their fish was and how to cut it effectively. Their layout is very well aligned and their selection is delicious.

Great neighborhood seafood spot with pretty decent prices for Denver. Love getting Mahi Mahi from here when they have it.

I have been here twice now, and everything I have purchased has been fresh and delicious. I bought fresh tuna and salmon to make sushi a few months back, and it received rave reviews from my friends. I decided to stop back by today and pick up something for dinner. I don’t frequently make seafood, so I asked for suggestions. He recommended the cod, and I selected a cut of swordfish because it was calling my name from inside the display case. I made the cod tonight, and holy moly it was good! I feel fortunate that we have a place like this in Denver, and I can’t believe I don’t shop here more. If you are looking for a fantastic selection of fresh seafood, this is the place to go.

These guys are awesome! I’ve ordered live crawfish, clams, shrimp and bunch of other stuff from them for a few years in a row now for crawfish boils. They always have great quality, really reasonable prices and they always throw in extra crawfish and whatever else you get when you buy in bulk. They are super easy to deal with and even though I am in Parker, it is well worth the drive to buy from these guys. Highly recommend them.

Wow. The owner Bruce is as bright a slice of humanity as you’ll find on the planet. His product and store’s cleanliness is absolutely impeccable! Don’t weep being landlocked in Denver. Run like the wind to Seafood Landing. A premium product and service awaits!

I shopped here for the first time yesterday and I really liked it! There was a large variety of FRESH fish/shellfish and the staff is very friendly. Plus since it was my first time there, the woman helping me gave me a great deal($ 20 off my total purchase + free wasabi). When I got home, I made the Ahi and king salmon with complete satisfaction. Tasted, looked, felt, smelled wonderful. I will definitely be making this my only stop for seafood for now on– so long seafood section at the store!

Seafood Landing will have you questioning whether Denver is actually a coastal city. Their seafood is that good. First, upon entering you’ll notice the place does not smell«fishy». Their product is fresh, no doubt about it. So…what to get?! If you’re looking for a cheap(relatively, given it’s seafood) and easy meal, you cannot go wrong with their mussels. The last time I bought some here, all of them opened while cooking… not a single throw-out! The scallops, oh the scallops. They smell sweet. Like sea candy. These things are good enough that a simple butter sear, a squeeze of a lemon and a dash of salt is all you need for a fantastic dinner centerpiece. Honestly, you want to make great sea food and you live in Denver? This is where you need to go fish.

Over the years we have cooked just about every type of fish Bruce carries. If you would rather spend your fresh fish budget locally instead of at Whole Foods you cannot go wrong here. Everything is ALWAYS fresh, they always have the standards along with enough other choices to keep things interesting and the service is over the top. Fresh fish served up by a real live knowledgeable & friendly Fish Monger. Just think, one less trip to Scary Creek Whole Foods :-D Def worth a try.

Friendly, attentive service with fresh seafood choices. It’s a small, no-frills shop that focuses on what’s important — the goods from the sea. If you’re overwhelmed or confused by the options, as one of the folks behind the counter for recommendations. If you’ve lived near an ocean, the prices will seem comparatively high. Remember, folks, we’re in Denver, where the closest thing to an ocean is the Cherry Creek Reservoir and no one wants to be fishing there! We’re landlocked: Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Generally over priced for most of the selection, but I will say there is a nice variety for not being near the ocean. I’m giving 3 stars

NoLa has a special place in my heart and Seafood Landing sells Camellia brand red beans, cajun spices, as well as Crystal’s hot sauce. Those things alone already got my heart racing in a great way. Boy! Was I excited! I came in on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy at all, there were no one there when I got there and another couple walked in shortly after I was there. The staff was really nice and really helpful. They just started carrying this smoked trout dip that was ah-mazing! I was worried because I have dairy sensitivity and this had smoked trout, capers, lemons, spices, and mayo. I didn’t have any issues with it because most mayo only has oil and eggs, but I have been surprised before. I checked with guy who I assumed was the owner and asked about a good pan frying fish that’s not salmon nor tuna. He recommended me some cod. I came home, cut the cod smaller to feed 3, sprinkled some flour and pan-fried with some«Slap Yo Mama» white pepper blend of cajun seasoning, a little salt and black pepper. I’m an island girl, originally from Taiwan and lived in Hawaii for many years before moving to Colorado. Boy, I can tell you right now the cod was amazingly fresh. They flown in their seafood from all 3 coasts — Pacific, Atlantic, and Gulf of Mexico, and you can definitely taste it. The cod was fork tender and we ate the smoked trout spread/dip next evening with some crackers and killed it in less than an hour in one sitting. I would say the price is in line with Whole Foods, but I still see Whole Foods having not all fresh products but frozen. It is really hard to not eat frozen in Colorado. But if you get a chance, come to Seafood Landing. Yes, it’ll be pricier than your regular seafood from grocery stores. However, the price in my mind is totally worth it. Definitely a nice treat here and there for a seafood lover!

Bruce is the best. I can walk in, ask what’s good, ask how to cook it, and be eating a perfect piece of fish 20 minutes later. I can also order tough to find items, walk in with a specific list, or have a general idea of what I’m looking for, and he’ll always come through. I’m incredibly picky about where I’ll buy seafood, and Seafood Landing is the top of the list.

We came in on Valentine’s Day and boy was this place hopping! Service was quick and efficient but not overly friendly. No surprise given the number of people they were helping that day. The catfish we bought was fresh and delicious and we will definitely be back for more samplings of their impressive seafood display.

Bruce and his staff are amazing! Not only incredibly friendly, but extremely knowledgeable and if they don’t have what you’re looking for they can still order or help you get it. This is our #1 destination to buy fish — period. Don’t take anyone’s word for it — stop by and see for yourself!

Steamer Clams! Wianno Oysters! Live Lobsters! Am I on Cape Cod? No, It’s Bruce’s Seafood Landing. You need to call ahead to get the steamers and the oysters, but he can get ‘em and they are always insanely fresh and delicious. I drive here from Idaho Springs to buy seafood. I’d drive from Grand Junction if i needed to. This place rocks! And not just plain rock and roll, think Jerry cranking on all cylinders while the band keeps playing on. Cheers Bruce!!!
