Ross-Broadway Library

I will say this: It’s tiny. Don’t count on going in and picking up the book you’re looking for off-​the-​shelf. That said, I always put a hold on my books and then pick them up at this location. They are quick, they are efficient, and the place is always pretty crowded. They must be doing something right.

I will keep this brief. Every library deserves 5 stars, just for existing. This one however, loses one star for its miniscule book selection, and another star for its lackadaisical attitude towards maintaing a quiet/​library atmosphere.
The two librarians working at the counter, converse loudly in-​between the times they have to help the patrons there (i.e. work) — and had no problem with letting people talk on their cell phone, while others were trying to read in peace.

I love this library! It’s quiet, it’s local, and like all the Denver libraries, they bring everything you want to your choice of their locations.

I am so glad this library is down the street from my apartment! It is kind of hidden away, took me forever to learn it was here.
Parking isn’t too bad if you park on Bayud past Lincoln.
Staff here is helpful and knowledgeable.
It is very small, there were about 5 computers and limited work spaces. Not many people are usually here though, it is still a neighborhood best kept secret.
I request items online and pick them up once a week. It is super convenient. They always get stuff in pretty quick.

I recommend this place if you request stuff ahead of time, otherwise there is likely going to be a very limited selection.

Yep, this place is small. But it is the little library that could. What a selection! For such a small place, it really knows how to rotate the books in and out, and has a great selection. People are always in here, and it truly feels like a neighborhood library. The staff is great. They are very helpful, ready to look up anything, show you what to do or order from the main branch. The location is awesome for those living in the Speer or Baker neighborhoods.

Great for a small local library! They have community classes each week (cake decoration, knitting, etc.). I use the DPL online system and get books ordered to this branch for easy pick up.
They have about 8 computers with internet should you need it.

They have the most awesome classes here! The first one we checked out was called something like, «Strange Brew» and was all about coffee and the best kind to buy and how to make the perfect cup. Awesome! And, just this weekend, «Shop My Closet» hosted a how-​to-​Thrift-​Shop class, complete with field trip to Goodwill! So much fun!
This library is right by all the shops/​restaurants on Broadway, but don’t fear the street parking! This place has its own lot, albeit small.
I also love how they present their offerings, here. Since it is Oscar season right now, they have a section of Oscar winning films & books that were made into Oscar winning films, past and present. Fabulous!

Wow this is a really small library but it is quaint. Like the location you’d walk to from your local neighborhood for a little weekend reading. Therefore there isn’t much of a selection or too many computers to use but it is different from your usual DPL branch filled with people crowding the computers.

I like this small library because of the location. It’s Very small library. How for some strange reason I’m always able to find books that I like here. They do have a decent selection of DVDs, even new releases. They also have about 10 or so computers for public use.
Overall, I’ll continue using this library especially to rent DVDs.

The smallest library I’ve ever seen! I went to this location and thought I was in someone’s house. Though I do love the library and I hate paying for parking at the main branch this place has free parking and is relatively close to where I live.
Kudos for location and the book transfers to any library, but little to no selection here.

consider me a fan because: it’s small, close and the staff is friendly-​ish. the place is a bit noisy, and it’s so small that it fills up soon. i wouldn’t recommend it for studying, but it’s ideal for me to check my email on their free wi-​fi without bother. i also never have to worry if my phone rings (on silent, of course!) simply because i can answer before i run outside and no one even notices.

I only give it 2 stars because the staff was so friendly and cool…
and it’s walking distance from my new crib.
I ran out of ink and needed to print something that I have to present tomorrow (of course), so I dashed over to the library hoping it was open. Yes! Whoa and parking on Broadway is like unheard of, so bonus points.
Then I got inside.
There were people on their celly phones *talking loudly*, not even trying to respect the concept of «library-​shut your hole while you’re in here».
There were people arguing. What Da hell? — take that shit outside. It was ridiculous.
To be honest I did not have high expectations, but I was shocked. So, the 5 minutes I was inside were not impressive, and I can’t say I would go back, unless of course, I run out of ink again.
It is open til 8p on Mon and Tues, but if it weren’t for that fact, and the parking lot, this would be a 1 star review. awful.
