Rose Midwifery

I switched to the other Rose location after being profiled by one of the midwives. A judgmental glorified nurse is the last thing I need. The building is newer, but they aren’t as friendly and there is no doctor on site.

This place is amazing! I go in excited, and leave feeling good and confident that they are taking care of me and my baby. Highly recommend, and will go back with my next pregnancy!

This is the second pregnancy that I’ve seen the midwives. They are all great, but Jenny B is my personal favorite! Also, Monica, their MA, is wonderful! I am so grateful for all that they do. Just an awesome practice for prenatal/postnatal/women’s care. Would definitely recommend again and again!

I think this office is closing down, but in any case, this review is not for Dr. Ring, who I thought was wonderful, but the BILLING SERVICE. I am 14 months post partum, completely covered with awesome HMO insurance, and STILL getting bills. Wrong bills. «You aren’t covered» bills. My insurance company has had to call and argue every single one. My last bill said that I was being referred to collections. Mind you, this was for a bill I had never received before. Will be changing doctors regardless, so I never have to deal with this billing agency again.

I had an appt a few days ago and was told the office is closing down the first week of April for good. This was all pretty sudden for them, as they received the news only a week ago. After my appt I asked for my files and was sent on my way. A girlfriend of mine who also is a patient there had no idea, as they are not proactively reaching out. I suggest you go in there and get all of your files so you can easily transition to a new Dr.

First, I had to call a couple times to make an appointment and was promised by the receptionist that she would call me back. Finally after calling a couple times she called back and I was able to make an appointment. Unfortunately after waiting a half hour I was told I would need to reschedule and not given a reason why. As a new patient thats never even seen a provider there I will not be going back. If they can’t figure out the front of house then I don’t have faith in their ability to care for patients.

I blindly picked this office for my doctor and I’m glad I picked this one. A few of the reasons I picked this office and Dr. Ring in particular were the proximity to my house, the fact that they worked with Rose and also the fact that they had a midwife practice along with Dr. Ring was impressive, this was exactly the type of environment I was looking for. I am happily a patient of Dr. Ring. This pregnancy, (my first) started of normal and smooth, but changed around 29 weeks and I developed some complications, I was admitted to the hospital for a few days and throughout the ordeal I felt as though Dr. Ring was always in the loop and concerned about me as a person and as a patient. I feel as though I have received great care and am looked after in a way that makes me feel confident I have chosen the right doctor and office staff to help me though this stage of my life. It isn’t often you find any doctor that can rely on and being that I have dealt with this office on a very consistent basis for the last several months and have always felt I have gotten the responsiveness of caring staff, well, its pretty amazing. The entire staff is friendly, reliable and down to earth. I would recommend this office to anyone who is even contemplating getting pregnant. Very pleased!

Dr. Ring is awesome. I have since moved since I was her patient and had the opportunity to visit 4 other doctors (high risk). Her office runs the smoothest by far. Staff is wonderful. Her ultrasound machine is the best. No other ultrasound machine compares to hers. Appt times are not bad at all. I would highly recommend her.

Great experience here today. The office was very prompt and courteous. I saw Jennifer, a midwife, who was incredibly caring and thorough and always made sure I was comfortable.

I am extremely pleased with the service and caring of this office. I saw the Rose Midwives throughout my pregnancy and couldn’t have been happier with the care I received. This particular office has only 2 – 3 midwives so you continually see the same people all through your pregnancy which is helpful as establishing trust. Everyone in the office is sweet and understanding and I have always felt well cared for. I would highly recommend the Rose Midwives at this location.

On my first visit there a couple of things that concerned me. The first was that Dr. Ring said she was going to give me pictures from my first ultrasound. I didn’t receive the picture because she left the building and forgot. The medical assistant made a comment that you can’t really see much. You could only see the heart beat. Well this is my first baby and a picture of the heartbeat was important to me. I asked the Dr. a question and while she answered the question her eyes where closed. Striked me as a little odd.
I was never given a due date.
At the end of the visit Dr. Ring gave me a piece of paper without any explanation of what it was for. Turned out not to be a big deal, but some explanation would have been nice.
My second appointment came and when I arrived I was told that Dr. Ring had to deliver a baby. I understand that, but why didn’t the office call me? They have you sign an agreement about respecting their time, what about respecting my time? I agreed to see the midwife, but would have to wait an hour and a half. There seemed to be some confusion as to why I was even at the appointment from the medical assistant. I was just doing as requested of me, shouldn’t they know why I have an appointment, it was what the doctor asked me to do.

So… Surprise!!! I got pregnant.
It was the pregnancy from hell. Horrible, awful, complicated, painful. Needless to say I was super fun to be around for about 38 weeks. The women who work here were so patient with my grumpy, complaining, whiny, wimpy, (and huge) pregnant self.
I went so often that I actually feel like I lost friends. Maybe I should get knocked up again.
Nah, I’m not that big of a masochist.

Super happy I chose Rose Women’s Care for all my OBGYN needs. The facility is new and clean and the staff is outstanding! I see Dr. Ring who is not only smart and competent but patient, thorough and understanding. She always makes sure all my questions and concerns are addressed and I never feel rushed. They have midwives, too, if that’s what you prefer. They cared for me through my pregnancy and I always felt I was in good hands. They offer some baby classes here, too, which is convenient if you live on this side of town.

I had need of GYN care, and turned Unilocal for help. So glad I did! I saw Dr. Stephanie Ring who is so awesome she could be a Nurse Practitioner (high praise coming from a Nurse Practitioner!). Stephanie is intelligent, informed, approachable, compassionate and stylin’ (Stacy and Clinton would definitely approve).
When I got a call from «Stephanie» I was way into a lecture designed for another Stephanie, when Dr. Ring gently let me know my test results were fine.
I was seen in a prompt and timely manner. Front office was great.

Brand new so it’s really nice. New equipment, quiet, calm atmosphere, no long waits like at the Rose Midwifery. They have physicians and midwives.
